Hello from Athens, GA. I drove over yesterday to attend The Beths concert at Georgia Theatre. By the time you are reading this, I may be on my way back ITP. I was going to hang out for awhile, but I think I will shower and hit the road.

After returning from the ear doctor, we did little else all afternoon except futz with the hearing aides. Not sure the software upgrade did much for the app.
As I don’t have network in the shop, I had to play CD’s for music while I straightened up.Amazon finally showed up after dark, so getting the network restored out there is first on the list this morning.
Maybe a ride before I head to the Games meeting.

Did nothing but work yesterday and watched some of Season 1 – The Traitors (on Peacock) Its an entertaining reality show.
I have watched a few iterations of The Traitors. The UK versions were both entertaining and infuriating. The UK’s Celebrity Traitors was really good.
I’ll have to look up the UK version – the American one is about 1/2 reality “stars” & 1/2 regular people. Alan Cummings cracks me up as the host.
When I saw players for the first US season I checked out immediately.
The Canadian version is now on Peacock too: three seasons. The third season was wild; my favorite. It’s such a fun little show!

And I have watched them ALL! ha! Then again, I’ve been watching for years. 🙂 Except this season yet because I like to have the whole season there before I binge.
I also heard on a podcast that an entire season, in some part of the world, had to be scrapped because of information that was shared and ruined the outcome.
Went to sushi after work and then watched Monday Night Football. I didn’t sleep well Sunday night so I didn’t have the brainpower to follow a TV show.
54 this morning when I left for work. Didn’t feel as bad as yesterday, for some reason.
I might have to leave the house today – yesterday – did not go outside at all
Same, best I did yesterday is in the garage cleaning and putting away camping stuff. I need to leave the house today.

Barb, I’m almost 100% in agreement, except I’m no fan of Mexican beers, nor margaritas.
Heck yes! Patio lunch at a Mexican place is worth leaving the house!
Got home a while ago, been updating software on iOS devices. Inexplicably the YouTube app on my AppleTV with the latest tvOS is crashing constantly.
Across the street neighbor is having more trees cut down. I can’t see which, and wonder what their impetus for doing this is.
get Franklin to tell you about taking down trees for the new house – the CoA shit is so crazy – it costs soooooo much money to just get permission to take them down, then you have to pay the tree company on top of that. And I think they are supposed to replant very specific trees too.
Oh I’ve heard about the permitting. On the one hand I’m all for it, because newsflash, trees are important for living. On the other hand, developers level acres of trees every day and probably pay a fine (or bribe) to get away with it.

Huh, it’s also crashing on an AppleTV running an older tvOS. This must either be a YouTube problem, or a problem with my internet.
It could very well be a YouTube problem. The NFL Sunday Ticket that streams through YouTube glitches every 30 seconds. I miss part or all of every play!
Athens was dead last night. I was shocked that Creature Comforts is closed on Mondays. One of the places at which I used to eat, The Grill, used to be open 24/7, but like many things these days, is no longer the same, and was closed yesterday.
Also, parking in downtown Athens ain’t cheap any longer. Fortunately they stop checking meters at 10pm on weekdays, so I “only” had to pay $11 for my 3.5 hours of parking.
Because I was getting out of town ASAP this morning I forgot to mention how interesting this The Beths concert was. They are finishing up a very long tour and have decided to make these shows somewhat interactive. Before the show we got to vote on which of two songs would be played first. Then people were able to request a song on a piece of paper and throw them on stage. The band picked up about six pieces of paper and added those songs to a running list on a blackboard. Then, then had a stuffed fish which contained a microphone, threw that into the crowd, and the person could add a song.
I was glad I was never put on the spot because even though I really enjoy their music, I don’t know the title of any of their songs.
I’m horrible at knowing titles of songs – that’s why I love Sirius XM – it always tells me
All the talk of getting outside convinced me to go for a walk. I walked to buy a cup of coffee from Emerald City Bagels and then over to WLF@UFO. It is a beautiful day outside.
I’m making the guess that YouTube/Google/Alphabet is having issues because video is playing quite well using the BritBox app.
Getting home much earlier than expected is really messing with my mind. I keep thinking that it is much later than it really is. This should be a great thing, meaning I will get more done than anticipated m but everyone here knows that’s not necessarily true. 🙂
