For the foreseeable future I will be moving wood chips into WLF, and also making some mushroom beds in the front yard. Work on this will resume when I return from my Trees Atlanta shift today. Since the Barcycle is still in an impaired state, and I may want to conserve a little energy for my manual laboring, I will drive once again.

Today we unloaded a truck with plants for the upcoming tree sale. Normally we water, weed, and transplant.

The tractor is apart and I still can’t remove the failing part. I’ve had to dive far deeper than expected and have no manual for what I doing. Any further progress will remove 2 connections into the transmission and that could be dangerous. If I can get a hole drilled into the bad part and remove it, it should be a clean repair. I was at that point last night when my quarter ran out.

Worked too much yesterday – got a call to go to the Braves tonight – Delta 360 seats -so, we will fit that in.
Need to get our crap together for camping this weekend – luckily – Allan is all about getting that done – I just need to figure out groceries & my stuff.
Looks like it might finally be cool enough for a campfire, so we will pack up some firewood.

It was 62 degrees when I got in my car this morning! Loving it!
Nanny picked up Finn from school and took him to the movies, so Kevin and I took ourselves to Six Feet for an early dinner. Home in time to watch the Red Sox eek out a dismal win. This is the last weekend of the regular season and there’s a BIG nor’easter headed through the northeast, so all the teams up there are making contingency plans.
Tonight we are going to see Sara Bareilles at the Fox.
I don’t know who Sara Bareilles is.

Eating lunch at Ideal Sportsbar. There is a realtor sign outside. I really hope this place doesn’t get sold anytime soon.
I finally had to get out the heavy artillery- and by that I mean the Dremel with the metal cutting blade. It took 4 blades (they are only the size of a quarter) to cut a hole in the part, then I was able to pry it out. Just leaving my lunch break and will start reassembly!

Not terrible. If I can get a gasket to form where the shifter attaches, it will be a big plus. Decided to have that secured before attempting to replace the plug I cut out. And if I could get the hydraulic fluid to stop flowing over wher I’m trying to form the gasket, that would be a plus.
My day of hard laboring is over. After treating myself to lunch and a couple beers at Ideal Sportsbar, I moved over ten bags (IKEA shopping bags) of wood chips from the pile in the front yard to WLF.
Just woke from an hour’s nap. I feel better.
Don’t understand why my Apple Watch doesn’t give me more workout credit for filling, schlepping, and emptying bags of wood chips. This is much harder work than walking, for which it happily gives me workout credit.
