In doing some research yesterday about beer, namely trying to figure out which brands are owned by the Big Guys, I found out that Terrapin is no longer owned by Miller/Molson Coors. Apparently at the end of 2024 they were sold off to another company called Tilray.
Wordle in 3 and I’m not sure how. Nothing on my starter and only 2 letters, both in the wrong spot on 2.
Tractor parts should be here today and then I get to figure out how to install them- without breaking something else. See also the LQ shower.
Spoke to my buddy Jude last night. He’s picked up some consulting work for the SpaceX launch facility they are building not far from his house is South LA. Very nice work if you can get it. Might keep him off the streets and out of trouble.
Was hoping that the fix for the Barcycle was a chain lubing, since when I looked at it last evening it appeared a bit dry. Nope!
Stan happened to be walking down my strew with his dog when I was test riding it. He looked at it, took it for a spin, and thinks maybe there is something going on with the reader hub. Might have to tote the Barcycle up to Marietta Cycling (aka Barb’s and Allan’s house) in the near future for some professional evaluation.
Big excitement today, I took the dog out to do her business and she almost caught a squirrel! She got the tail but then for some reason let it go- probably because I squealed!
Debbie went on a trail ride and everything was fine until she went to get OFF and Walter wasn’t happy. Moving, walking and generally being bad. After 45 minutes, they drugged him with a little something something, then he was much more compliant. Screwy.

The more you know…
and they aren’t making beer at the Athens location anymore too
I did not know that!
I might have to boycott them now.

Hoping for some rain.

Quiet day at the office yesterday and working from home today. It’s supposed to be a high of 76 today: brrrrrrr!
76 but humid, no brrrr.
I might have to go outside today – only 76???
According to NOAA. But can we really trust the government anymore?
I was mistaken, it’s a high of 81 today. 76 is tomorrow.

Is that rear hub a single speed?
The bike is twelve speed, two rings up front, six in back.

exciting times in Inman park
I could do without that kind of excitement!
Out killing myself doing manual labor because once I stop I know that I won’t start again today.
Almost made it to 1pm. I am whooped and it appeared as if rain was going to start, so I have quit for the day.
Looks as if I may be wrong about the rain, but I’m definitely right about being whooped.

I talked to Katherine today – she took a tumble off her horse the other day. Ouch
Debbie survived and still thinks Walter was a pretty good boy. I don’t know who is crazier- her or Walter.
