I’m going off grid, communication wise, so this is all you will hear from me until Monday. Enjoy your weekend.

Wordle in 4.. streak of 2!
As Debbie had a “ladies dinner” last night I was on my own and went to Waldo’s chicken and Beer, where I had… wait for it… chicken and beer! Not bad and not expensive. And apparently, Thursday evening is when you should shop Publix. More employees than shoppers. Who knew?
Cardiologist this afternoon. Just my annual check in.
Happy Friday!

wordle in 4 as well – I don’t have a streak – as I’ve never signed in.
Saturday morning at 0615 is a good time to go to Kroger – there were definitely more employees that shoppers
We went for a walk last night – met up with Sally – caught up on stuff.
Yay for Friday! From the beginning the new dean declared Friday as a down day, so we have zero meetings today. I am hoping to get out early.
well that’s a lovely thing – every Friday no meetings!!!!
Except for the fact that it means I schedule meetings for him pushed out to November!
It was rare that anyone scheduled meetings on Friday, unless you had a test or major install over the weekend. Or were an a$$hole.
Well, we don’t have classes on Fridays so they used to be a great day to schedule things. Now they are a great day for finally getting to shit that you can’t get to when you’re in meetings all day. LOL!
Popping in briefly to ask if anyone else finds it disingenuous that “ZZ Top” is playing a concert in Lagrange tomorrow night? Two of the three members are dead, granted at least lead guitarist and singer Billy Gibbons is the lone breathing member.
all the old guy bands are starting to play whereever they can get a gig
I feel like all the bands from the 70s and 80s that are still touring only have like one surviving member anymore. Seems like that’s how it’s done anymore. Gotta make that money!
Well poop. And here I was about to ask you if you wanted to go catch our NFL game this weekend at a pub (assuming you’re still a Jets fan). If you happen to see this and want to, let me know. I’ll be out and about somewhere. 🙂
Seems like there are no sports bars in ATL at all anymore. Where do you like to watch football?
I have a few Packers bars I go to (The Imperial and Family Dog are both), but I don’t know a lot of others. The Po’Boy Shoppe across the street has taken over Mrs. Icy’s so there’s a whole new bar up there with tons of TVs, so I may start going there since I heard they’ll be showing all the games. Technically a Saints bar though (makes sense *grin*) …but that’ll be fun when my Packers play them this year!
being able to walk there & home is never a bad location
