Over the weekend I made a focaccia, and not to toot my own horn, but it was fantastic! I followed a different recipe than the last time I made one, and would love it the loaf I make tomorrow is just as tasty.
I hope that they are wrong, but the long-term weather forecast is calling for near 90°F next week. Too soon!
Wordle: four, my starter was DITCH
Too soon? It’s usually already 90 by now!
A couple of years ago I bought one of those Pillsbury dough containers of focaccia. It wasn’t super fantastic but good enough that I would’ve bought it again, but I’ve never seen it at the store since then.
Tickets to see Bill Burr at the Tabernacle tonight. I’m excited!
Average high temperature for Atlanta in May is 82°F
I’m guessing it’s that low because it cools down at night in May, unlike, say, July.
Bill Burr should be fun.
I was just thinking the other day – we need to go see some comedy.
It’s been way too long .
Yeah, same. We went to see one comedian in 2025, and this is the first this year.
I liked Burr more before fatherhood. To me he’s lost his edge.
Like John Mulaney, who got sober and lost his edge. I absolutely rather he got sober, but I probably wouldn’t go see him anymore.
Wordle in 4 and almost 2!
With the motorcycle repaired, I managed a nice ride with a little gravel. The good news is they are paving at the bridge replacement on 54 so a major travel headache is about to be relieved. Maybe this week, even.
Today is lunch with some blogger dude and a cute cheesehead girl. Then a visual field test and check in on the 5th set of eyedrops!! Then phoning in to a Games meeting tonight.

wordle in 4 – and I solved with only greens. (I think that is so funny, like it matters)
had the in-laws over for a day late mother’s day dinner – sat outside, it was a lovely evening – the gardenia is blooming – so it smells good out there.
Had $28 on me and spent $22 at Your Dekalb Farmers Market. I had to stand in the store and tally all of the items in my cart to ensure that I didn’t go over my budget.
And now I have to find the recipes which required some of the weird items I purchased today, like dried peas.
its been a while – does YDFM not take cards? its cash only?
Correct, no credit cards. They take cash, debit cards, and checks. I don’t have a debit card with me most of the time, and have no checks.
Waiting at the eye doc after a nice lunch with JUST Paulie. Stacy had to (sorry, 4 letter word ahead) WORK! Of all the nerve…
Good to catch up over a tasty sandwich and beer.
