    Wordle in 5 and should have been 4.

    Up early to go with Debbie to work. She pulled a couple days to cover while another person is on vacation and I’ll ride home.

    More mowing in the hot afternoon. But it’s done for a couple weeks. Chatted with a friend and he has 40 acres (no mule) to mow. At least he has an enclosed cab with AC.

    A wicked storm passed through overnight, so I am glad today I am doing laundry instead of trying to mow a wet lawn. Hopefully it will dry out by tomorrow morning so I can mow then.

    Was feeling guilty that I am skipping Trees Atlanta tomorrow in order to skip town, I received an email today from the project coordinator who cancelled tomorrow’s shift because she hurt herself while in Alaska last week.

    I have my Bob Dylan tickets in hand. I’m shocked that he’s actually going to play a song I know, “It Ain’t Me, Babe”. I have a good vibe about this concert, his recent setlists show some thoughtful choices, as opposed to songs that sound like a cat caught in a barbed wire fence. I think that touring with Stevie Ray Vaughn’s brother may have made Bob a little contemplative this time. We’ll see. My expectations are tempered appropriately.

    I may be back at Ameris Saturday night if I can get cheap tickets to see John Mellencamp. I almost signed up for Sunday tickets to see Toto at Ameris too, but the VetTix for that show are lawn seats. I know I’m a concert whore, but even whores have standards.

    I left my house, took the dog to daycare, and got to my office and settled in, only for the babysitter to text that he’s stuck on 75 behind a huge crash. Kevin had a 9:30 arbitration downtown so I turned around and came home to wait for the sitter. I was back in the office by 9:30, so not much harm done.

    I watched the start of the Red Sox game but had to go to bed by the third inning.

    Lots of lightening here, my dog was not very happy about it.

    Got my wheels swapped so the bike is road ready and I have started gathering gear. I am ready for some riding this weekend. I just hope my truck is done today so I have transportation 🙂

      I will be gathering everything in a few minutes. I did laundry this morning so all my stuff is clean. I had lunch plans which were cancelled, which although I was looking forward to going to Ideal, it’s great for me not to spend the money and eat food that is in my refrigerator.

    Things are starting to finally kick off in Wee Little Farm, just in time for me to abandon it for three days. I hope I don’t miss a window of opportunity for eating beans, tomatoes, okra, at their peak.

    27 steamy miles in the bag. Roads on the other side of 85 I rarely get to ride, so that was a treat. Didn’t feel bad, but was ready for it to be over. Almost stopped in Luthersville- 3 miles from home.

    Paulie, did you know that the Hudson Grille in L5P closed down? Does not affect me in any way, that place sucked so I avoided it. But I wish they would put a GOOD sports bar in that space.

    went to the dentist – and only have to pay $19!!!
    that’s always a miracle when it isn’t a whole bunch of money.
