Apparently Irish folk musician Glen Hansard died in a motorcycle accident the yesterday. While I am not a huge fan of his work, I did enjoy what I heard, and was moved by his death at 56.
Yesterday I watched a short interview about woodworking with actor Nick Offerman on YouTube. The channel posting the video was called “Highland Woodworking”, so I thought it was from the (one time?) furniture capital of the world, Highlands, North Carolina. Nope, it was from the Highland Hardware store next door to George’s Bar in Virginia-Highland.

Legs are toast from yesterday’s ride. Part of the problem was the seat was too low after I did some work. It was close, but enough to make a difference.
Pulled the trigger ( actually just scheduled ) the 2 day off road class at the BMW Performance center in SC. Halloween weekend, so should be comfortable riding.
We have 2 funerals on Saturday! One in Marietta and one in Warner Robbins. I think I drew the short straw with Marietta, as 285 is closed this weekend. Back way for the win.

Yeah, 17 years ago it was a war zone. That was the year my first husband and I got mugged at gunpoint twice in one week.

Another super busy day at work, trying to get all the shit done before the old dean rolls off tomorrow. Yesterday I was so tired I forgot to pick up the dog from daycare and had to re-route on the way home.
I just realized I have also forgotten to pick up my CSA box for the third day in a row. Maybe I will remember on the way home?
