I did a lot of good work in Wee Little Farm yesterday, none of it dealing with the downed tree debris.
I wandered up to Midway Pub to watch England crumble to Argentina at the end of the game. From Midway I went straight over to Betsy’s for dinner and tv; we watched the end of the movie “Flight” and then the first episode of the final season of “The Bear”.
This morning I’m using the window of sunshine to ride to Trees Atlanta for a volunteer shift. At this point I know I’ve put in enough shifts this year to get invited to the volunteer party at the end of the year.

We had a pretty light day. I was going to ride after we gave big dogs all baths and took George and the puppies to the vet. Somewhere, I lost motivation. And because of the vet trip at 4, I completely missed the match.
Off shortly for a Dr appointment, then a shopping expedition to the outlet mall near Dahlonega. Not sure it’s cost effective, but this was Debbie’s idea.

There must be a special store she needs to go to? Because there’s an outlet mall near McDonough which would be orders of magnitude closer to you. But you guys don’t mind traveling! 🙂
She thinks there is a Columbia outlet, but we shall see. Just arrived and I haven’t been this way is a bit. Holy hell , its grown.

There is an outlet mall up 575 outside Woodstock, we pass it on the way to Ellijay.
Working from home today because I can while my boss is out of town. I hope my new boss will do some remote days once in a while, but who knows.
Went to Surin for dinner and then home to not watch baseball or World Cup. Heh. Kind of sad that England lost but the final should be a good game. Also the consolation match between England and France should be good.

Back from Trees Atlanta and I’m a bit worn out. Neighbors have a big trailer in their driveway which i assume is to remove wood. I am waiting to see action before making my next move.
Also stopped by WLF@UFO to kill Mexican Bean Beetles and wipe out their egg clusters. Somewhat disappointed the at 11:45am the raised beds are still in shade. This is far from ideal.
Trying to decide what chicken thigh dish will be dinner tonight. I have everything for a jambalaya, so I might go crazy since I have no other plans.
