I am glad the Tour de France is back, but I really miss the commercial-free feed Peacock used to offer its paid subscribers. I am probably going to watch a lot less of the tour because the commercial breaks annoy me so much.
Wordle: four, my starter was TINGE

W00t!
Making the drive home, naturally the unconventional way. Currently eating breakfast in Sanford, NC, at Mrs Wenger’s Restaurant. Breakfast is two biscuits – one bacon, one country ham – and some home fries.
Next stop, Buc-ee’s in Florence, SC.
For the first time the Buc-ee’s experience disappointed, too many people making it impossible to do anything.
all the Buc-ees anymore are just a mad house
Yep, probably stop going to one except to gas up.
Wordle in 4.
A good weekend, interrupted by a work issue, but that got me to the office and then onward to the garage mahal to pick up my gravel bike from Allan.
Sunday was a scooter day. I was west of Greenville on some really nice roads that needed a bicycle. We also took Cash over to a hydro treadmill for a little “meet and greet” with the machine. He needs some work and this is one way to do it.
Off today and there will be plenty of chores.

Back in GA for a couple days –
Flight was on time & uneventful – landed in E5 – by the time I had a potty break & got to the luggage carousal – my bag was there – brats stayed frozen no problem.
I entered the 20 minute guarantee form on the Delta website- 2500 free miles! I have no idea when that 20 minutes starts – so I enter it every trip.
Had brunch with JoAnna – getting up at 0415 & only getting some cookies on the flight – I was starving. Allan was working, so he just dropped me off.
Started repacking – we leave tomorrow – 2pm flight for Boston – (this one is the birthday trip with my niece Maya – birthday 7/13 & sister Connie)
I love that you brought frozen brats home. Awesome!
Corn takes up too much room
An extremely quiet and relaxing long weekend. Except for the part where the people renting the AirBnB down the hill set off fireworks for what seemed like hours. We watched baseball on the ipad, listened to baseball on the radio, listened to some music, and read our books. If you remember Kevin recently ordered a big order from Omaha Steaks so I made one for dinner one night; it was my first time having an Omaha steak and it was deLISHus. Our new stove comes with a griddle that made perfect grill marks, too. There was so much steak left over I made a steak and rice casserole. Picked up Finn on the way home and we have him for two weeks.
Kind of a boring stage. I sped watched it after mowing and loading up some metal recycling.
That crash that took out the sprinter was so quick, he had no time to prepare – one second you’re riding along and the next you’re on the deck. Tough day.
This just in: I mistakenly thought WLF could take care of itself if I watered only on Saturday. Most of the crops look as if they have decided that they want to die. I really can’t blame them.
I probably should have watered every day that I was away, but I was being cheap.
