If all goes to plan I will be making my first visit to The Eastern for tonight’s Sugar show. If this wasn’t a band I loved, who hasn’t toured in 34 years, I wouldn’t be going. The introvert has won, and is tired of trying to interact with others.
Wordle: five, my starter was FRAUD
Wordle in 4 and shoulda been 3.
Mazda looks like a $3k repair. Slippage between 3rd and 4th gears. Ugly.
And it’s already been an exciting morning. As Debbie left for work, she saw Tanner on the ground against the fence. She ran back in to get me moving and grabbed a tow rope. we wrapped it around a hoof and managed to pull him to a position he could get up on his own. He seems fine- just was stuck against the fence.
There will be riding today of some sort.

Cars are just expensive – waiting to hear when the Subaru will be done, hoping to pickup it up on the way home from Roswell Saturday.
New mailbox post & old mailbox with a new coat of paint are back up.
Of course yesterday was the 1 day we had real mail that could not be delivered (actually got a notification) so it should come today.
Paulie – I will send a pic to you, since you don’t play the FB game
Cars are expensive. I’d live without one if it were possible.
You are lucky, if I could never see another person again I would be just fine. Of course, I only say that because I have a front facing job where I have to be “on” every single day.
It’s Friday, and Finn is with his mother this weekend, so we are feral. I am going to make the aforementioned cheesy bratwurst cabbage rolls and maybe a potato casserole because I have potatoes that need using. And we will probably get mani-pedis.
I was just thinking I need a pedi – no time this weekend, I need to get that on my schedule next week.
I wouldn’t go this weekend, I don’t really need it. But Kevin is pushing for it.

– we too are going to see a band tonight – but at Roswell Junction – they are a Trop Rock band – calling it Margaritatown.
A friend lives right now the street, so we will walk to it.
We saw Journey at State Farm Monday night. They did a really good job, unlike the show they did at Truist a few years ago. I’m glad to have seen them on a better night.
Back from a Kroger run. My goal was to spend $100 to maximize the 10% discount I was getting from Upside. I went over, until I removed the coffee from my cart. I then realized I hadn’t scanned my Kroger Card so all of the “with card” prices were wrong; in the end, sans coffee, my total was $91.
There was one impulse buy, red skin potato salad, which has already been added to the compost since I didn’t like the way it tasted.
we need to go to Kroger today (going to the app now to be sure I’ve clicked all the right stuff)
only spent $25 – I’m not the big grocery spender that Paulie is
I’d not done a proper shopping in weeks. And heck, $18 of mine was for a bottle of maple syrup.
i am not an aficionado of maple syrup, so that is not something I’d spend a bunch of money on
Much like peanut butter, I’m willing to spend more on maple syrup to get what I want.
That’s how I am with tuna. I had to buy the good stuff once and since then I can’t stand the cheap kind.
