With the exception of the weekend Hurricane Isais passed by and canceled everything, we have been (and apparently will be) dry. Wee Little Farm is so dry that I have been running my sprinklers in order to keep things alive.

Ken came over to get his mtn bike handle bars cut down a little (handlebars are so wide these days) & ordered Tasty China. They forgot to add the rice to the bag, so I had to go back. Soooooo annoying! They gave me some egg drop soup since I had to come back.

Mazda should be ready today- basic tune up. Not sure if they need to do that work to find what’s really going on.
Rode the scooter around the farm to work on slow speed turns and such. Trying to be ready for class next weekend.
Taking 2 of 4 dogs to the vet shortly to get their shots. Debbie is working, so not sure why I’m not just picking them up.

the Subaru had a weird little leak in the garage, so Allan took it to the shop, its getting something fixed. I’m guessing we will go pick it up at lunch time. Hopefully nothing pricy (& didn’t need an oil change yet)
Or maybe happy hour – there is a bar next door where I have some barfly friends that could be there.
speaking of slow speed turns – I have figured out I can’t make sharper right downhill turns on my mtn bike, I’m ok on left turns, but can’t seem to get the right ones. Not sure what’s up with that.
Is that balance, technique, or something with the bike? I know I make better right turns than left
maybe its back to left handed & right handedness? I have no idea, its just weird I feel much less comfortable turning right down hill.
What class are you taking?
2 day off road training at the BMW Center in Greer SC. We will use their bikes, so I’m trying to be ready for the physical part. Some have said to expect to be exhausted each day, so I’m trying to be prepared.
OMG – Allan was leaving to go ride, and heard someone take out our mailbox.
At least it fucked up her car. DANG IT – now we need to get a new post again.
I REALLY WANT A BIG CEMENT MANATEE. Allan said now he’s thinking maybe my idea isn’t that bad of an idea after all.

UGH, THAT SUCKS.
Finally got a haircut last night, for various reasons I hadn’t been able to for over 6-7 months and my hair looked terrible. Then I got home and the crockpot chili was ready! I love the crockpot. We watched Wheel and Jeopardy and an episode of Top Chef.
Tonight we get to watch sports again because the Patriots are playing TNF.
I got my haircut yesterday too!

Back from a morning of volunteering with Trees Atlanta. Drove this morning because I couldn’t be bothered with riding a bike. Intended to stop at UFO to take care of some things there, but was hungry so I came straight home. Burger is already in my belly!
Trying to decide how I will fill the next five hours. Tonight is a volunteer appreciation gathering at Concrete Jungle.
Subaru need some sort of rear differential seals replaced (or something like that) minimum $700.
