I found the headlamp!!! Apparently when I was packing up from GA Wild Foods Weekend I thought it was a good idea to put it into the bag containing all of the cables and adapters that I use for charging when traveling. The U-lock, is still MIA and I cannot recall exactly when I used it last, though I know it’s been since I bought the new bicycle in June.
Wordle: four, my starter was ANISE
Wordle in 4.
A good day yesterday, despite the parks effort to ruin the field. They needed to deliver some police barricades and did so on the still wet field with a very heavy forklift and left some major ruts. We were not happy and they were trying to make it right. Everything else seems to be right on the schedule. Yesterday‘s crew was a little smaller because a lot of people still have to work. I don’t know who they are though.
I’m camp near the laundry in the campground which I thought was convenient until I went up there yesterday to determine how I needed to pay, and there were no washers or dryers when I stopped at the registration office, thinking that perhaps they had moved it to another location. They admitted they were out of service. I located a laundromat at their suggestion last night and dropped it off for laundry. Service dinner was next-door at a mediocre sushi bar perhaps being next to a laundromat should have clued me in on the quality of the sushi.

Hahahah, yeah, if you’re going for sushi out in BFE next to a laundromat, you might as well get gas station sushi.
I never had gas station sushi, but have had grocery store sushi & big box store sushi.
wordle in 4 – another boring day yesterday.
Did get a decent walk in last night at least.
Heard about an Amazon Prime show about Garth Brooks & the making & opening of his big honkytonk (he uses the word honktonk a lot) in Nashville. I started watching it, its interesting – a friend is going to Nashville soon & wants to see the place after watching this show.
Have you all heard the big brouhaha about the Atlanta Dream? They are in the WNBA finals. They’ve been playing all their home playoff games at State Farm Arena but there are other events happening at State Farm for the 2 finals games that Atlanta is hosting. They’ve been completely selling out the arena so making them go to their home stadium down by the airport with 3500 seats is unthinkable, and the sports community was PISSED. Luckily they managed to work the WNBA games by playing one game a day earlier and the other earlier in the day. That’s good because the press on it was pretty bad.
There was no baseball or football on so we finally watched the last episode of Virgin River. We have Finn for the next 5 days but after that we will start on the latest season of either The Morning Show or The Bear.
We are going to get Apple TV again soon – so we can watch Ted Lasso, and I can get back to Then Morning Show again
YES, Ted Lasso, too!
I’ve been following that saga – it is now a double header day with the Dream & Hawks now on the same day – that will be awesome for the basketball fans –
It was 3500 seats vs 17,000 seats – you know I figured they’d figure out a way to get it in a bigger arena. (I was wondering how big Tech’s BB arena was too)
I’m very glad they worked it out – and NEXT season all the games will be at State Farm
They have quite the rabid fan base, especially now that they made the finals. I’m glad it worked out too, the Hawks barely ever even make the playoffs but they take precedence over the women’s finals?
And I heard they rescheduled and could get State Farm Arena.
Greetings from Tampa, visiting my college kid. Wordle in 2 for the second day in a row.
how is she liking Tampa?
She is absolutely loving it. Definitely living her best life.
Not sure how you managed a deuce with today’s solution. You must be living right. *applause*
Thank you! I started with SULKY today. Yesterday I started with SWORD.
Is it parent’s weekend or just a random visit? I hope she’s liking it!
I purposefully avoided the parent’s weekend last weekend. This is Paideia’s winter break, so it’s my son’s first trip to the campus. She’s loving Tampa, and likes all of her professors except one. There’s always one…
I figured it was fall break, there was no traffic this morning. Yay!
