   Sorry you’re in a funk.

   A pretty quiet weekend. 20 on the gravel bike Saturday. Dinner at a new (to us) place on West Point Lake. Debbie had Flounder with shrimp and I had duck and andouille gumbo. Except for a lack of sausage (1 piece) it was tasty.

   Began packing for Scotland. Have an eSIM for my phone and Debbie will keep her number active. We will meet our drum major friend at a bar outside the castle and be escorted in. Heard from more friends who have already been and it’s over the top.

   Off shortly with the little trailer and 5 new shoes. Hopefully not an all day affair.

   Is Paulie’s limousine service still available Wednesday?

     I have the Verizon way too expensive service – so we have international whatever included.
     I can NOT find my European converters for the wall outlets – I can not figure out where they are. So, I ordered 2 from Amazon, that will make me find them.

       Debbie ordered specific GB converters which have USB ports. We need warm and rain gear, as lows have been in the mid to upper 40’s.

         Allan found them – I knew if we ordered new ones – they would turn up

         I bought some vacuum seal travel bags – so we can take smaller suitcases

           My wall outlet converter is so old, I think I would just get a new one anyway. Although the past few times I’ve gone to Europe I’ve managed without it at all: most hotels have USB ports now.

           Jenka- no idea if the boat we will be on will be all that upgraded – so, gotta be sure we can charge stuff!

   Another very quiet weekend. The only time I left the house was Saturday for mani-pedis followed by lunch at Pure. The baseball was nicely timed so that we didn’t have both our teams playing at once on either day, so that was nice.

   This week will be both quiet and eventful. Classes start Wed and we have our big Fall Convocation on Thursday where we will install the new dean. Big times.

   The Vuelta stage ends with a hailstorm and the riders taking cover! I think the riders made the call and the comms just went with it and you can’t blame them. They were less than 20km out but it didn’t look like much fun. And it’s painful…
