On Sunday I got tired of killing Mexican Bean Beetles, so I took out all of my bean plants at WLF@UFO. In my meager bed I sowed some beet, turnip, and kohlrabi seeds just to see what happens.

Yesterday I started taking out all of the tomato plants in WLF because I’m tired of feeding the critters. They have helped themselves to almost all the tomatoes out there.

I am not sure why, but this year I have become an expert at killing plant seedlings. I watered my plants, from the bottom, prior to skipping town on Friday and when I checked on them yesterday morning almost all had withered and died. I’ve not had this problem in previous years, so I am completely stumped and dismayed.

So many of the nuisance plants have been thriving while the plants I put in have suffered. I almost ready for winter to kill everything so that I can prepare for next year.

    Wordle in 4.

After the hound walk yesterday, I rode from there home. Felt like crap and glad it was only 13 miles.

LQ is hitched up and is being readied for departure tomorrow. I have a PM kit for the 2 generators and want to see if they can REALLY run the AC. We don’t think we will need them, but always handy to have. We have the big generator, but that’s a PITA to take- it would have to stay in the truck.

And we have figured out that Margo’s middle name is Houdini. I fixed one spot where she was escaping and yesterday she was waiting for un in the carport when we were ready to go hound walk. Bi-ach.

Do not bring a big generator to a campground – EVERYONE around you will hate you. I mean, some get annoyed with our very quiet little Honda generators.

Can’t wait to hear about how the trip goes.

Braves got beat by the Mets – so either the Mets were just in a play good mood, or the Braves pitcher(s) aren’t that good. It was a high scoring game, so at least it wasn’t boring.
My fear of getting hit by a baseball (or a hockey puck) almost came true – Allan was quick to grab it after it hit next to me, and Rohan got an extra souvenir. We got a giveaway football jersey with Michael Harris II #23 too (only came in L or XL, so Allan didn’t take one. It was a little warm, but not too horrible. It was also BOGO hotdogs, but we still spent too much money. 2 beers – almost $30, bottle of water $8.
