Yesterday’s irrigation workshop was very educational, and included an amazing lunch. Afterwards I drove over to Schoolhouse Brewing and was pleased to see my favorite employee, Gabby, behind the bar. With two beers in belly, and a four-pack in hand, I tipped heavily and spent the next hour driving home.
My busy week continues. After doing laundry this morning I will be driving down to Luthersville, where I was briefly during BRAG last week, to pick up my broken frame from ITP-Reader Steve’s house. If I can time it properly I will also be revisiting Karvelas Pizza Co. in Hogansville, where we Chattahooligans consumed a few beers during our ride.
Looks as if I will be watching some ad-laden tv soon as I have discovered that a new season of “Clarkson’s Farm” has been released. Unfortunately for me the next season of “Severance” may not arrive until 2027? WTF…
Wordle: three, my starter was CRASH
As I started my drive to the Waschsalon this morning, I saw a group ride of younger men go flying down Flat Shoals. I kind of wish I was young enough, and fit enough, to join them.
I wonder where they started and how long of a ride they are doing.
Wordle in 2! IYKYK
Sitting in the town on North Hero, VT. about to cross the border shortly. Worked my volunteer sign duties yesterday and it was only slightly frustrating. Their particular problem is being at different venues each year and getting appropriate signs to the locations. Its getting done, but slowly. Rain is forecast later today, so I wanted to get my ride to Canada done.

I think I missed whatever it is that you’re doing up there. Is it a bike race?
“Good day, eh. Welcome to ‘The Great White North’ Canadian Corner!”
Wordle in 3.
Weather app says it probably won’t rain today but the clouds right now look somewhat ominous.
We went to Osteria 832 for dinner last night. They did a renovation last year because they now turn it into a late-night nightclub at 10:00 pm on the weekends. In the renovation they lifted the bar to a height suitable for standing. So the barstools are way too low and you sit at the bar like you’re a kid needing a booster seat. It’s uncomfortable. Hilariously, a guy walked in who was like 7 feet tall and sat down at the bar and he looked normal!
too funny about the bar stools -are they going to order new ones for eating?
I certainly hope so! I won’t go there to sit at the bar again unless they do.
wordle in 5 – not my day.
Work was way too busy yesterday.
I finally finished a 10 year old 2 season show called Chance (Hugh Laurie) on Hulu
What a weird show -but I liked it.
Hello from Hogansville, GA. I’ve picked up my frame and am treating myself to lunch before making the trek back ITP.
BMW national rally.
I survived Canada. Oddly, the Canadian officer was a stick in the mud and the US was a nice kid. Go figure. And I missed doing the secon d most Canadian thing while there- not play hockey, but stop at Tim Hortons!
But did you stop for Poutine?
Burned gas and laid rubber.
With our idiot president I’m surprised Canada lets us in.
Exactly. I spoke to a couple guys here at the rally and they said Canada is being more strict. Can’t blame them AT ALL.
Done with the long distance part of my day. After Hogansville I drove to Morrow to shop at Nam Dae Mun. I don’t know if I should be happy or sad that the cashier automatically gave me a senior discount… 🙂 🙁
That pisses Debbie off to no end.
