Happy Memorial Day.

So much of the recent rain has fallen north of I-20 that I have captured more water from my HVAC condensation line than I have from the sky. Rain is predicted for every day this week, let’s see what tune I’m singing by the time I drive to Columbus on Saturday. I hope by then it has rained itself out so that BRAG won’t be a complete mess.

According to the t-shirt I wore yesterday, this year marks twenty years since I saw Flaming Lips at Tabernacle. Wow.

Wordle: four, my starter was AWFUL

  1. Remember, no mail, banking, nor CoA trash pickup today.

We went to Ellijay to a couple wineries yesterday, never rained up there, but it was a horrible monsoon while driving home. It was an hour of very stressful driving, I haven’t done that in forever, and really don’t want to do it again a time soon.

  3. Listening to the album “Are You Thinking What I’m Thinking?” by The Like. It’s an album and band which eluded me in 2005.

  4. In order to beat any predicted rain, whose arrival keeps getting pushed back, I just transplanted six bean plants. What type of bean? Fuck if I know because “Past Paulie” failed to label the pots. *dumbass*

Wordle in 4 and my first 2 guesses were whiffs.

Lovely to see some of you good folks at Travis’ graduation party. I might have made it to Wheelhopper had someone reminded me of it!

Instead of riding, I continued the concrete cutting. I have one more long cut to make, then the little cuts to make the “shelf” for the grate.

We are 2 episodes to go on “The Mentalist”. It has been a good run and we’ll probably just start over.

Only one inch of rain so far.

    • Travis’s party was a good time. Thanks Bob and Laura.

I remembered Wheelhopper, even saw Jackass and Lawn Cut Doing drive by as I sat at Midway Pub watching soccer. I had no intention of riding it…

WLF may have gotten an inch overnight. Collection from the sky still trailing collection from HVAC thanks to its desire to remove humidity from the house.

  6. On my way home Saturday night I stopped at Kroger, 4x Fuel Points were still on offer, and picked up a pack of baby back ribs that I will cook tonight. May Fuel Points at 899, obviously I will have to go and spend a couple of bucks this week to get over 900.

  7. This being Memorial Day means it the 27th anniversary of my first hash.

  8. It’s 2pm and the predicted rain has yet to arrive. It may still, but as of now I’m skeptical.
