Surprisingly I wasn’t mad to see the rather large bunny sitting in Wee Little Farm as I went outside to collect my mail at 4pm. It didn’t see,d to concerned about me either, until I walked toward the grass in which it then hid, and it scampered away. I’m not sure the bunny ate anything, yet, at least the lettuce on which u expected it to have consume was unscathed.

As I watched Atlanta United play in a seriously empty stadium they gave up an equalizer goal to New England. And then five minutes later they gave up a second goal. I turned the game off after that. They are a terrible team, again. I predict that they will finish near the bottom of their standings, and that head coach Tata Martinez will retire at season’s end.

We were there last night and yes the stadium was pretty empty. The one goal they scored was exciting and Travis’ friend Cooper almost scored twice. I heard the announcer say “Atlanta United, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory”

    • I was wondering if you were down there.

They are just a lackluster team, with seemingly no ability to score.

    • Barb says:

Travis has a friend on the ATL United team? Is he Travis’s age?

      • Bob says:

Yes, Cooper Sanchez. Travis and Cooper were BFF’s through middle school. As Coopers soccer game improved he ended up at some special high school for elite athletes. They still keep in touch though.

        • Barb says:

was it that school over at the training center? I know Terri (Star Whore) taught Very PT to some kids there

    • Jenka says:

I was also there, and I’m surprised I couldn’t pick you out Bob, since no one else was in the stadium. Could not believe how empty it was.

CoA is a mess – sooooo many engines/trucks are broken.
Allan’s engine for moved to a different station for better coverage, but they are covering 2 to 3 territories, so they get almost zero sleep.
He just got home & is going back to bed.

Steve – he is planning to mess with your bike later today.

    Wordle in 4.

A great show last night with Alistair and Natalie. While they didn’t play music we were familiar with, it was all good. No explanation of what’s next or even that it was the final tour. Maybe just fatigue- they’ve been playing together for 26 years.

The plan to have dinner prior at the pub got F’d by Atlanta traffic. Waze had us arriving on time, then routed us across rain tracks with a parked train. Oops.

Had I known sooner, I would be riding/driving down to Auburn to watch the Blue Angels fly over campus at 0930 on their way to Vidalia for a show this weekend. While not on the way, apparently one of the pilots is an Auburn grad, hence..

    And thanks, Barb.

  5. Jenka says:

As previously stated, we went to the United match last night because they were playing New England Revolution. The club was normally full but the stadium as a whole was deserted. We left at halftime because mamma needs to be in her pajamas on a school night.

My truck now has a gooseneck hitch so I’m able to pull the trailers. What it doesn’t have is a working air conditioner, so that will be the next item to get working.

  8. Barb says:

good visit to the periodontist for a cleaning – he didn’t tell me (again) I needed a gum graft.
I ignore the email with the estimated cost 6 months ago, and he didn’t bring it up today!
    Saving money!!!

Good for you, Paulie, to not get enraged by wabbit season.

Wordle giveth and Wordle taketh away, I’m amidst a surely soon to end run of 3s lately. I’m smokin’ ’em while I’ve got ’em.

My dance card runneth over this weekend, Cake in Huntsville tomorrow night, Jon Batiste at Chastain Saturday night, and a community play in Greensboro, GA on Sunday to support a friend who is in the cast. I think this will be my 4th time seeing them play live. They pretty much have an automatic payment from me anytime that they’re playing in the Atlanta vicinity. I last saw them play in Asheville.

    • David says:

“They” meaning Cake. I am also super excited about Jon Batiste, that man is a savant on the piano, and apparently has a brain condition that causes him to see musical tones in colors, which definitely explains his creativity. His latest album incorporates the blues into classics by Beethoven.
