Happy April’s Fool Yousguys!

I’d be fooling myself if I thought that I will be in good shape by BRAG Spring Tune Up, but I should survive. When you read this I may be out for a long ride.

I’d be fooling myself if I thought that I will be saving a lot of money this month, but I will not spend any more that I feel is okay. I have built an extensive collection of DVDs, Blu-Rays, and books, so I will be canceling a few streaming services this month.

I’d be fooling myself if I thought that I FRAUD was the solution today’s Wordle, but I’m playing it first again.

Happy 50th Anniversary to my favorite company: Apple Computer. No foolin’

Wordle: four, my starter was FRAUD

Wordle is currently broken for me- got a message about “you can play, but it won’t count for your streak…” I will reboot NYT shortly.

I had high hopes of getting a ride, but the pasture still needed mowing and I’m still fighting with the blower and why it won’t fuel. Today I’m going into battle with some privet and poison ivy. Wish me luck.

The “new” truck got a bath yesterday. Debbie noticed where lettering had been removed- Lawn Maintenance Division. Considering it’s 150k miles, it still is in pretty good shape. When they waxed it, they waxed every inch! Tires included!!

I’ve never signed into NYT – so I will never have a streak

    • I got in 19 miles last night, and didn’t make it out this morning.

I’m doing a lot of chores around the ITP Estate. Turns out, that when you cook a lot from scratch, as well as attempt to make a sourdough starter, you dirty a lot of cookware and spend an inordinate amount of time washing up.

Helps when I’m not attached to the AP in the man cave when I’m sitting in the house! Damn network issues. Wordle in 5 and I was surprised it took VICHY as a guess.

We went & rode last night, Tammy joined us, so I decided to not “turn on” my E until the last few miles when there was a big hill. Allan’s E just abruptly shut off, and he isn’t sure what is wrong, so I will most likely be taking it to the shop today (he is calling over there when they are open) We are glad it is 2.5 weeks to STU………

And Artemis 2 launches at 6:24 tonight. Had I been able to find a campsite, it’s my goal to see one of these lift off. We just signed up for the on-site viewing area. NASA will give you a seat on the bleacher, bus you to the viewing area and feed you for $250 a head. BARGAIN!

  4. Barb says:

wordle in 3 today (& I knew to not try VICHY – what the hell is that word?)

  5. Jenka says:

The Athletic sports Connections was good today, although there was one category I never would’ve gotten on my own.

First afternoon Braves game today, Kevin’s firm is going and I am going to join them. Here in the office for the morning.

I have won (for the moment) the battle of the privet. The bigger clumps will get a little agent orange (I hate using the stuff) while the smaller clumps got pulled out root ball and all. I should have tackled this back when it was cold. I’m sweating bullets what with long sleeves and pants.

  7. Made myself “Cuban” black beans in the Instant Pot and some yellow rice with chicken on the stove top for lunch. Quite tasty!

Tonight’s dinner will be a homemade pizza, sadly not yet in my outdoor pizza oven.

  8. My penultimate, or perhaps final, charge for Disney/Hulu/ESPN occurred today. In other financial news I was pleased to see that State Farm is kicking me a $100 refund for kicking them to the curb yesterday.

  9. Barb says:

Allan’s bike is dropped off at Atlanta Cycling – hope they can figure it out quick & easy.

One of the guys says – does Allan have anything ordered you need to pick up?
Made me laugh – I said – probably – he’s always buying stuff – and sure enough – someone is getting new rotors.

another weird obscure thing – I always turn on the map in the car – just because – and it said it was only 3 miles from Windy Hill & &$ to the shop. It sure seems like it’s further than that.

  10. Maybe it is due to my poor night of sleep, or the fact that it’s already getting hot outside, but I am feeling incredibly uninspired today. Thankfully days like these don’t happen all that often.
