Happy Black Sheep Founders Day, everyone! It’s like a religion I no longer follow, but still recognize their holidays.

Ich habe in einer kleinen, kostenlosen Bibliothek ein deutsches vegetarisches Kochbuch gefunden!
Or in English…
I found a German vegetarian cookbook in a small free library.

The book is from 1995, and the price listed on the sales sticker is in Deutsch Marks – DM 29,80. I intend to use this cookbook to improve my German reading skills, at least in the culinary realm.

Wordle: four, my starter was COUGH

  1. I heard that BrewDog shuttered its Belt Line brewery (without notice) the other day. I visited this corporate brewery a few years ago and was unimpressed with their beer, especially for $9/pint. Unlike many of the other closures, this one I will not miss.

I went there once – a few years ago – never thought about it as a place I needed to go back to. But – its location on the Beltline – you’d think it would do fine business.

Luckily Debbie is posting puppy pics, so I can get my fix. Thanks, STEVE! 🙂

I have nothing to report. We went to Double Zero for dinner and got home too late to start a new show. Today we get Finn for 10 days and then we’re traveling so I didn’t want to start a show and then have to drop it for two weeks.

Got my tire plugged – and since we were way over in East Cobb, had some cocktails with friends at the bar next door – Montana’s.

Dobbins is doing some new training exercises (aka loud noises) – PATRIOT FORGE (I love how everything has to have a name) – and all the neighborhood groups are going crazy about it.

    • David says:

Oh joy. At least I can retreat ITP if it gets too obnoxious at Debbie’s.

      Wordle in 2 though!

      • Barb says:

its not that bad really – just new noise – so people have to be crazy asking about it

        • David says:

Makes sense. I lived across the street from Grant Park for 20 years, and definitely paid for it in the summer time with regard to crowds and noise. It was pretty glorious the rest of the year though. I bought the house in the summer time, so I knew what I was in for. Kind of like the Air Force base has always been there, so…

          • Jenka says:

As my husband always says when people complain about something near where they bought a house: “YOU moved to the nuisance.”

    Wordle in 4.

All the puppies are doing well. Red (#1) didn’t gain as much weight as the others so will get some quality time with mom today.

Eye doc still isn’t getting the result he wants so I’m now on the 4th brand of eye drops and see him again in a month. Games meeting could have been an email.

Need to finish PM’ing the tractor and get to mowing. Pastures and yard are looking a little long. And need to “move into” the new truck. All the crap from the Toyota now has to get loaded into the RAM. Fun!

Let us know if you run across any chef’s knife sets. 😉

      • Jenka says:

        HAHAHAHAH!

        • Steve says:

Discoveries- several keys to the old Toyota, sets of sunglasses, CD’s- I don’t think we own a car that plays them. Underneath the carpet in the back seat are little “cubbies” that look like they might hold ice and drinks!! Just about the size of a six pack. And the carpeted under rear seat “wells” hold the load straps and miscellaneous junk much better than the Toyo.

Greetings from the sick bay. My gout is going away, swelling almost gone and pain is just annoying and not really painful. The crud I had is slowly fading away but unfortunately I passed it to Laura. I hate seeing her suffer and don’t mind taking care of her but damn she is a terrible sick person LOL.
Paulie I almost was able to read the German you wrote. I took German in high school and retained only a little so was surprised I recognized a few of the words.
Tonight is bowling and I’ll be solo, Travis is working, our 4th Larry is taking a night class, and Laura is on her death bed. I should be done in record time.
