    Wordle in 4 as well.

At Urquhart Castle. Old ruin on Loch Ness. No sign of Nessie.Dinner last night at a bar with live music. Classic Scottish tunes so I was a happy camper.

    Wordle in 5.
Hotel had a great breakfast spread (Buffet) – bussed it to Old Town, wall opened at 8am, we were walking up more steps at 8:05. No shade for the most part, & lots of steps. It was a cool (ok, not cool, HOT) thing to do- probably 1.5 – 2miles.
Wandered around more, found the Buza bar that was a stop on Amazing Race, had a drink, but no good seating there – but found a little shade.
Theres a water polo tour going on- lots a fine fit looking young men wandering towards the tournament area.
Back on the bus to the hotel- need a costume change, dang it’s hot.
Might sit at the pool for a little while, if there’s some shade.

  4. Took a walk to WLF@UFO to water, nothing to harvest. Thanks to encouragement from ITP-Reader Sal I took my trash picking gear and picked up a bag of trash along the way.

Wish I had something more exciting to report other than dinner at Double Zero followed by baseball watching at home. But I do not. Red Sox had another bad outing.

I got Wordle in 4 starting with blast. No idea how I made the leap to solve in 4.

Spent last night gathering camping gear for a long weekend in the Smoky mountains riding the motorcycle around. Going to ride up Friday and stay at a moto campground. I’m planning a big 5 hour ride on Saturday around the national park then Sunday hit tail of the dragon and Cherohala skyway. Monday will take an old moonshiners route down to Walhalla before heading home. Gonna be a good time.

  7. You know why it’s important to have paper maps? So that when tech giants who should be providing resistance against petulant, narcissistic presidents, don’t provide such resistance. I will never refer to them as the “Gulf of America” or “Lake America”. No matter what Google Maps or Apple Maps call them.

Back home after Urquhart castle, the canal locks above it, Fort William and Ben Nevis, the highest point in GB. 5+ miles up and you better have your $hit together. Likely 4 seasons worth of weather. Maybe next time- it looked great.
