I have been doing more “Tradman” chores this week. My use of the term is a bastardization of the term “Tradwife”, aka “Traditional Wife”, where a woman does chores as in olden times. What did I do? I mended clothes — put a button back on a pair of shorts, sealed holes in two pair of underwear — using a needle and thread. I also hand washed some clothes and hung them out to dry since it was hot and dry yesterday. Additionally, I’m trying to learn how to make more food from scratch, such as breads, preserves, and condiments.

Yesterday I also mowed the front yard. I had to do this the traditional way since the only mower I own is a push mower. 🙂

Once again I had to chuck out bean plant starts because they didn’t look great, and when I left them outside overnight some critter destroyed them. My inability to grow healthy plants this year has really baffled me. All I can imagine at this point is that I bought a lot of tainted soil at Lowes this year causing my plants to become stunted and disfigured.

This morning I’m riding my bar bike on the Beltline to Trees Atlanta again. I considered eating lunch at Eats inside Wild Heaven, but decided that I should return home to eat food for which I’ve already paid.

    Wordle in 3.

It was not a great traffic day for heading north yesterday. Debbie called me shortly after I left the house and reported a fatality accident on 85 N at exit 61 (the main PTC exit). Waze started at arrival at 3:06 and quickly dropped to 2:56 so I rolled the dice, thinking it was in the process of clearing. Getting close to exit 51, it was warning I needed to get off again. Through the back woods, over to SF Parkway and then through the Lakewood neighborhood to get back on at University. Pretty much right on time at 3:05. Ugh.

Boots purchased. On to Chateau Elan. Fun with friends, but nothing special. A nice bourbon cocktail, but just 1. If there had been any serious drinking, I was prepared to overnight up there.

Nice pictures from the start by “former American” Asshole, who now’s lives in Pau with Mrs. Asshole. Ben O’Connor is solo off the front, and an idiot. Just a waste of energy.

I suppose Paulie knows who you are referring to for Tour……..

The gang across the street is watching the Tour every morning – Allan is kind of annoyed, asks them if they want to do anything, and they never really answer when we give them ideas. So, besides dinners – we haven’t seen them too much. (not my family, so I’m trying to stay out of it)

wordle in 5 – my guessing wasn’t going well

work yesterday was crazy, and I’m supposed to be training this support girl. she only does a few things, but I cna’t just train her on that (as I’m too busy) – so I’m showing her all this stuff that has nothing to do with her, which means – she is super confused

The gang came over for dinner – that was my day

  4. Home from Trees Atlanta. We wrapped early but I did some good work today.

If you’re volunteering on the BeltLine, you’re doing some especially good work. I saw lots of Trees Atlanta staff and I assume volunteers out yesterday on the Westside trail. Thank you for your service.

      • I’m helping the people who are volunteering on the Beltline. On Thursdays I volunteer at the nursery where we are growing trees for the Beltline as well as Trees Atlanta’s future plant sale.

  5. Just saw a story about a 21 y/o woman in Frisco, Texas opening “Little Bit Bakery”. May be time to have my lawyers send a cease and desist. lol
