   TGIF! Very busy week. We are heading up to the cabin tomorrow and staying through Monday because the vent above the stove is getting installed and we are having three roofers come to give us an estimate. Hopefully it will all get done by mid-afternoon so we can come home before dark.

     I’m trying to time ITP Estate repairs as well as finding new insurance company all before the end of March. I also have a trip planned which will interrupt this process, so fingers crossed I can get it all done in time.

       I don’t even like maintaining one house, let alone two. But the roof at the cabin has needed replacing for a long time so we have to bite the bullet.

           make sure they bring the right color gutters (they brought black when they were supposed to be white, luckily Allan caught it before they were very far along) I was like – DUH – who would put black on a green roof & a house with white trim?

           Yep. When we had the roof done on our house last month I had to pick the gutter color and that was a first for me. Like it literally had never occurred to me that gutters came in different colors. And that was yet another decision to make. *sigh*

           Actually the ones we chose are like a dark grey to match the roof.

         New roof is one of the most adulting things you can do, spend thousands of dollars for something you can barely see 🙂

   Went to get the LQ online and the fridge was not working again. F’d around and finally bypassed the failing sensor and it started working. Pump arrived so water is next. Now have the parts for the hydrant and will get that connected at some point- I love plumbing!

   18 miles on the gravel bike and the county has been putting out more gravel and not packing it down, making for less than enjoyable riding. Planning on dirty sheets tomorrow.

   still doing nothing around here – haven’t left the house since Monday night.
   Today’s problem is a headache – but at least my insides are starting to act normal.

   Might need to venture out for some Mexican chicken soup today – that might fix us.
   And – maybe Kroger for some 4x fuel points

     I have been in WLF doing some cleaning and organizing. Contemplating a Kroger run for some 4x Fuel Points…

     Also, much more outdoors choring will be done in this fantastic weather. I haven’t finished much of my WLF Winter Chore List…

   Going to spend my day building wire shelf covers, should be interesting. Let’s see how many Home Depot trips it will take.

       The container store used to sell clear plastic ones for the metro wire shelf system…
