Though I know the roads well, and would love to get out on them, this time in Rutledge is not meant for riding; that will happen next April.

I was hoping to find more oyster mushrooms, like I did last year, but the tree on which they grew appears to be gone. Dangen.

I brought what we used to call a “real” camera, my Nikon D300 with a Tamron zoom lens, with me. My goal is to shoot some images, and remind myself how one processes them on a computer, but without Lightroom now. If I am successful images will once again be part of my posts.

Wordle: four, my starter was FLORA

    First! And it’s after 9:00!

Nothing to report. We went to Osteria for dinner and then watched a less than scintillating Thursday Night Football game. Today is another busy day at work but I am leaving mid-afternoon so I have that to look forward to.

    I like images!

wordle in 5 – dumb word that is not in my vocabulary

nothing going on here either – Allan worked on a friend’s bike for WAY TOO LONG yesterday, but Ken was here the whole time watching. Since we just had Tasty China with him, and it was later than we planned – we went up the street to the Burger Bar. They always have decent food & drinks.

There is a new burger joint that opened in the Va-Hi Taco Mac building. I am looking forward to trying it.

      • Barb says:

I think I read about that place.
BTW – we might be in town on Saturday (Allan wants to go to Videodrone again) – where are you & Kevin having lunch?

        • Jenka says:

We were planning to go to The General Muir, but if that is too far for you we are happy to go somewhere in Va-Hi or Inman Park.

I’ll text you when we have some sort of ETA – I saw Chomp & Stomp is happening down that way too – and we don’t care where

  3. Fearing I’ve done proper damage to my left knee, ligament or meniscus. Time will tell…

    • Barb says:

if it is anything like my left knee that a wave hit me wrong in the Atlantic ocean a few years ago – it might get better, then every once in a while, you tweak it again & you wonder – do I need to have it checked out? Then it gets better.
      Its fun stuff.

Wordle in 5 and I’m with you, Barb. Not in my vocabulary.

I started working on the run in, but had the company of MP and the baby and couldn’t really do much with them snooping around.

Rode 17 and felt pretty poor. Considering that was only my second ride since the Games, to be expected. As I came down the road toward the house, Tanner and Walter were standing at the mailbox! I stopped and called Debbie to let her know she had escapees and I slowly started towards them, trying to usher them up the driveway. They were captured fairly easily. And speaking of escapees- did anyone else see the video of the horse that escaped his trailer after a crash on I-85? Scary!

The HWH in the barn has a small leak, so that’s on my chore list this morning. We’ve already picked up the car and it seems to be fine. After $6k, I certainly hope so.
