I went for a walk yesterday, and twice I stumbled on a hash trail (chalk arrows only) and twice I lost that trail attempting to follow it. I’m going to blame the hare, and not this former hasher.

After finding the one-year-old pecan tree that I have been nursing cut off at the base with its pot tipped over I am rooting harder for the hawk that I saw land in a tree recently.

Yesterday I updated my basement AppleTV to the latest operating system, and now I get no audio. Aaaargh! I need that setup to function properly because we are getting close to indoor riding time for me.

    Wordle in 5.

The hot wire is installed on a section of metal fence between pastures that the boys like to lean over. I straightened poles, tightened the top wire and added a hot wire with a solar charger I had from a previous install. Debbie took great pleasure in seeing Tanner get zapped- he’s a brat!

They finally have the Mazda’s transmission out and are ordering parts today. Hopefully they will have it back to us by next week.

Friends are making the “pilgrimage” to see the yet unnamed baby donk. I think we have decided on not naming him Gomer – “surprise, surprise, surprise!” We also looked at characters related to Minnie Pearl, but they were pretty obscure. Open to suggestions.

Subaru is finally fixed & picked up – that was fun (hahahaha), I never am in the car at 0730-0800. Lots of traffic.

Sally & I watched Survivor last night – almost caught up, this “new era” stuff (its season 51) is whatever -but – its something to watch – right Sally?

Had dinner with my old boss last nice. She’s been retired for a couple of years but she still gets what I’m complaining about. 🙂

Busy day today with two board meetings.

  4. Back from Trees Atlanta volunteering. Due to my upcoming social calendar, and the coordinator’s scheduling, today will be my last volunteer stint until December.
