I have to bring a potluck dish to a gathering on Friday. I will either be making a Mexican lasagna casserole, or a jambalaya, using some ground wild boar I was gifted over the weekend. The gifting couldn’t have been timed better as I am bringing the dish to a wild foods gathering

Paulie did you hear about Meredith Everett (Mudd from the Buzz)? She has had significant physical impairments the last few years (spinal issues, can’t walk, etc.) and two nights ago she was at her apartment complex pool and she fell in the pool and drowned. She was somewhere around 60. So sad.
Oh no! I can vaguely picture Meredith, I’m sure I met her on numerous occasions.

I’m sure you did, back when the Buzz was a thing, she was a fixture in EAV. She moved to FL at least 10 years ago because of her disability.

I think it will be the Mexican casserole, based on this recipe for a Tortilla Casserole.
Looks really good! It’s a little more work than the Mexican casserole I usually make, but it probably also has better flavor.
Wordle in 3 and I had 4 letters in my first guess.
Just back from breakfast and a scooter ride. Nice and cool to start the day, but I know it will be hot later.
There was a little work on the scooter yesterday, hence the check ride, and some mowing. Other than that… nada.
Weekly Games meetings start tonight and I thought I would attend in person.
