I am so bad at predicting on what day to buy gas. I could have bought gas on Wednesday for $3.89/gallon; yesterday when I arrived at Kroger it was $3.99/gallon. Also, gas is still around $4/gallon. #SoMuchWinning

I’m also losing things, of which weight is not one. Recently there have been three items that I have lost, nothing serious, but since I don’t have a history of losing/misplacing things it’s frustrating the hell out of me.

This weekend is Chattahooligans Training Camp in Thomson, GA — cycling, beer drinking, Blind Willie McTell Music Festival with Los Lobos headlining, many laughs — I am excited. I’m less excited to see that this weekend will probably be the first weekend in forever that we get consecutive days of rain.

Keeping an eye on the sky, and fingers off my keyboards. Have a pleasant weekend.

At the Split airport. It rained most of the night & this morning. A lot of rain, drainage in these old areas is not very good. Waiting to board outside- glad it has stopped raining.
Amsterdam is next, then home tonight.
Lots of people from our boat are on this flight.

    Jenka- from yesterday –
    I need to proofread.
Yes, tiny island, all old town stone walks & shinny walkways. . So many church bells – you may not want to stay there. And the airport is very nearby. – so planes overhead.
But – super cool little town

    Wordle in 3.

A long day at the vet in Phenix City. This guy is really good. Worked on Tanner and gave him steroid injections in some joints. Looked at Walter’s eye and says it’s improving. And speaking of fuel. We bought diesel for $5.69 on our way to the vet. We passed the same station going home and it was $6.11. Cha Ching.

To the dermatologist for an annual inspection in a bit.

Ride Sunday from Gay for Georgia Free Ride day but watching the weather.

Pulled some meatballs out of the freezer last night and made them with rice pilaf and roasted cauliflower. Our freezer is bursting so I am making an effort to pull things out of it. What’s the point of making things and freezing them for later if you never eat them?

      Welcome to my world.
We will be eating out of the freezer for a little while, this vacation wasn’t cheap! It that’s ok, it’s vacation.

Made it to Amsterdam, all boarding in Split is outside, so it was good it stopped raining by our loading time.

Bought some cheese here, not sure why, but Annette will get a kick out of it.
