Yesterday I listened to a podcast that was all about onion growing. Pity it didn’t come out months ago when the information provided would have been timely, as well as useful. I have set a reminder to register to it in October, when I will start thinking about next year’s onions.

My Black Bear Tavern meal has gone missing from the Seated app. I will be inquiring today, and if I don’t receive a satisfactory result will be canceling my account after withdrawing my funds. I find it to be a bullshit business practice if you don’t uphold your end of an agreement just because another service has paid out especially when the other service paid out 7% less!

    Wordle in 4.

Except for the lunch with the fam, we did little else yesterday. My plan of riding was spoiled by the wind.

We would like to have to blogosphere down for a ride and lunch- lunch only for the non riding types. We’re thinking the 17th of May. I have a 27 mile ride in mind. Floating this as an idea, so please let me know and we can adjust accordingly.

Kevin was having his hairs cut in Inman Park Quarter yesterday so we rendezvous-ed at Pure for dinner. There was no baseball to watch because both our teams played afternoon games.

Tomorrow we are heading to St. Louis to pick up another baseball stadium, just for funsies. The Cardinals are playing the Red Sox and we are going to both Saturday and Sunday games. The last time I was in St. Louis it was in the mid-aughts.

  3. Barb, you talked to a person at Seated? I just get the chatbot, which ends the conversation when I tell it that it’s been fewer than seven days.

  4. Made pancakes for my late breakfast today. Still haven’t mastered the new electronic griddle, but pancakes are always tasty to me.

  5. Had to run the WLF sprinkler system today. Without April showers there will be no May flowers, nor vegetables.

  6. ITP-Reader Sal hs just informed me that BRAG is updating the route! This is very late in the game to do so, imo. As of now, Day 1 will end in Rome (last year’s starting town) instead of Summerville. The new route is fifteen miles longer, 57 instead of 42, and puts us much closer (as the crow flies) to the current end town for Day 2 – Cave Springs.

    Interesting…

new guy doesn’t have all his ducks in a row I guess………..
I would think the routes could be ever changing, but the end town, that’s pretty wild they had to change it

      • Yeah, especially since we started in Rome last year. It was a tight squeeze for camping space last year, so it will be interesting to see what happens this year.

I’m sure there is a logical explanation for this late-in-the-game change.

  7. I wish dog owners would realize the other people don’t want their dog’s shit in our garbage cans. I just found a bag at the bottom of my garbage can and it was hard to get out.

    • Barb says:

I’ve known a few people that complain about people doing that.
Our garbage is never out by the road, so it doesn’t happen to us.
(our garbage people come up my driveway)

      • I don’t think that sort of service has occurred in the City of Atlanta since a few years after the ITP Estate was built. I say that since there are two trashcan receptacles located near my kitchen door.

        • Barb says:

Cobb county – we pay separately on our own for garbage – the company we picked – they do that. We just put it outside the garage door

    busy day-
    Wordle in 3 – a good 2nd guess.

Nothing exciting over here – ended up going out for Mexican – Annette was celebrating 6 months since she had knee replacement (not really, but it was an excuse for margaritas)

Tonight – we will hopefully go ride our bikes – (note to self – call Tammy to join us, since she asked me yesterday if we would be riding)

  9. Steve says:

I’ve gotten wrapped up watching the Masters after a little yard work nd grocery shopping. I will get out on a bike shortly.

    • I watch so little sports these days it’s almost comical. I watch soccer, and have the rare televised cycling event on as background noise, but other than that I’ve given up on everything else.
