TAKE THREE!!! This is my third attempt at writing a blog post today. My goals for today are to get laundry done, visit Lowe’s on my way home, and return to Tuesday Night bike riding.

Speaking of three, I am on Day 3 of another attempt at making a sourdough starter.

I strained my left knee walking in the basement yesterday when I stepped over something on the floor and my foot slipped forward. It’s amazing how easily one can hurt themselves.

I made an excellent pizza last night, with its only flaws being that I overbaked it, and it could have used a meat topping.

Wordle: four, my starter was REIGN. Was hoping my three theme would carry over to Wordle. No luck.

  1. In East Atlanta news: on my drive to the Waschsalon this morning I noticed that Just Loafin’ was empty. The Po Boy shop and daiquiri joint has only been in the village for the past few years, and I assumed that it would be popular with the non-beer-drinking crowd.

Currently at Curry Honda waiting on my car to get serviced. There was a recall having to do with the tires which I deemed serious enough to heed.

Went to the Hawks game with Sarah last night, had a great time and the Hawks won by like 40 points.

Wordle in 5. After whiffing my first guess, had 3 of 5 in the right place in 2. Grrrrr..

Finally made it to the eye place for new lenses- a 10 minute job. On to Lowe’s for 5 gallons of water seal for the recently cut tops of fence posts, and a sprayer. Spent a lovely afternoon spraying that and general cleanup along the fence line- privet, briars, etc. Really need to “Agent Orange” along the fence, but hate using that. Might burn some…

Today, I’ll finish up that project and maybe take a ride down to Auburn to look at this weekend’s race course.

Oh, and read last night that Pog won MSR Saturday on a BROKEN FRAME! He had crashed pretty late, lost a minute to the field, caught back up, followed Brandon McNulty back through the field, picked up Tom Pidcock and MVDP and rode off the front to outsprint Tom at the finish. The guy is not of this earth.

  5. Back from laundry and Lowe’s. Wish it would be warmer tonight for my return to riding.

My car got done and I handed them an exorbitant amount of money, and then I got two miles down the road and the TPMS light came on.
