Roof is done. All that’s left is for the dumpster to be removed, continued vigilance looking for errant nails, and for me to figure how this financial setback changes my life.
I’m getting a pet! Actually, lots of them! I’m getting set up to start vermiculture by using worms to make castings from food scraps. I’ve thought about doing this for the past few years but have always hit roadblocks.

On my way to Trees Atlanta this morning I stopped at the Jonesboro Rd Home Depot and scored some small bags of vegetable fertilizer on clearance for like 75% off. Woot!
I didn’t see any nails on the ground after we got our new roof here in ATL. Haven’t been up to Ellijay so there may be some on the ground up there. This is a good opportunity to mention again that it is unwise to get two new rooves in one year. Ugh.
I got my thrice per year haircut last night and then met Kevin and Finn at Surin. Then we watched an episode of TAR. Tomorrow we are off to Ft Myers for spring training!
Fort Myers – that sounds good.
We are heading to Vero Beach next weekend for a long weekend
my neck has been bothering me – I think I slept wrong Tuesday night.
Dang I hate getting old.
So we did nothing last night – ate leftovers – watched stupid stuff on the TV.
Today it is a little better, but still not good – it was hard getting to sleep.

Out to breakfast on the scooter. Was expecting it to be warmer- it ain’t. Jacket good, hands bad, even with grip heaters.
Chores and maybe a bike ride later.

Nope- my car said 34 degrees this morning.
That was a pretty uncomfortable ride! It’s warmed up, but my hands are still cold. I was going to PTC for breakfast, but with the cold, I cut it short and stopped at the secret place in Haralson- that I would have passed on the way! Gave me a chance to warm up.
Worms would make a great pet for you Paul! Like a starter pet. LOL
Good but frustrating night bowling, my first 2 games were over 200 then I was faltering a little but doing OK in the third. 10th frame I got a 9 then missed the spare. I ended the night with a 599 series! I can usually pick up the 10 pin with my eyes closed and freaking missed, I was pissed. Even after bowling so well we only took 1 point, so good but frustrating.
Thinking about a gravel ride on Sunday down in Gay GA. Starts and ends at a brewery. Options are 22, 35, and 41 miles.
Gay is a ways down there – and no gravel bikes here – you kids have fun

And now after further review, I have to be somewhere Sunday afternoon, so if I ride at all, it will be really short. F.
We might go ride in Roswell by the river, etc tonight.
Planning to road ride both Saturday & Sunday -no idea what time or where at this point.
