Paulie the Podcast Killer seems to be at it again. Last year I started listening to “Indiecast”, a music podcast, and at the end of 2025 they announced that they were going on an indefinite hiatus. I also started listening to “Chatabix”, a daily podcast which has been around for over a decade, but has not released an episode in a month.

National Weather Service says high of 41 on Sunday. But maybe they fired all the meteorologists.
I hadn’t realized the rain was going to start last night. Yesterday morning it was 29 degrees when I got in my car, so this morning when I heard the rain I got all excited. Then I checked the weather and the temp was almost 50. Who would have thought it would rise 20 degrees? Oh well.
Yesterday I made quite a tasty chicken and veggie stir fry and we watched UNC basketball blow Notre Dame out of the water.

I still need to go get some milk – & maybe the other stuff.
I “need” milk, have plenty of eggs, and can bake my own bread in a gas oven. I should be fine, especially if no power loss occurs. Owning no generator, I have recharged all of my battery banks…. just in case.
Hahahahahah! Just like every other “weather event.”
I went to Kroger yesterday afternoon for frozen pizza salad, the standard dinner do Wednesday night at Betsy’s, and the joint was packed with people.
Debbie made a delicious chicken and mushroom soup last night, but was running out of half and half. I made a run to the Ingles in Hogansville and it didn’t seem very crowded. We also hit the Publix in Senoia (where we forgot to buy half and half) and that seemed like a normal crowd.
Space opened up for the February 7th talk by Doug Tallamy at Trees Atlanta. I scored a free ticket. Woot!
what an ugly rainy day out – it sure seems colder than 49 degrees
