New Year’s Eve 2025: one down, (hopefully no more than) three to go…
Was 2025 a good year for me? Not really, though that’s not to say that there weren’t some highlights:
– BRAG Spring Tune Up, and BRAG were both filled with good bike riding and a lot of laughs.
– While I was unprepared for the NC Mountain Ride I really had a really good time doing it.
– Vancouver was an incredible trip, and it was great to see my old friend Tamara again.
– Wee Little Farm continues to be a rewarding experience.
I’ll keep the longer list of negatives to myself.
For my last meal of 2025 I am making a pizza at home, using the dough I prepared last night.
Will 2026 be a good year for me? Hopefully. I have many things planned, to be revealed as needed.

In regards to my CD sorting / DVD image finding yesterday: I have a couple of old computers, which I may try to resurrect next year for the sole purpose of reading CDs/DVDs in an effort to organize and reduce my possessions. If all efforts fail, I may purchase a USB-C DVD drive, assuming such an item exists, to accomplish this.
we have a DVD drive that is plugged into the laptop, as that is what Allan used to transfer movies to his hard drives.
I can ask him if you can borrow it – as we don’t have many movies anymore to transfer

Allan said an external DVD player is maybe $30 everywhere.
I haven’t researched, mainly because I’m going to attempt to stop buying things. 2026 will be expensive, I need to return to having discipline.
I have an old Windows 10 laptop that has a DVD drive that I can perform a factory reset on and donate permanently to the to the ITP estate.
I haven’t used Windows in over twenty years, I can’t return… Thanks anyway.

They built a new Tractor Supply in Newnan and we finally went yesterday. We won’t be back. To enter, you must be going South on US29 and to exit you are forced onto “the bypass- Ga34” going West. That’s it. Both required whipping a shitty (U turn) and were extremely inconvenient. Amazed that Coweta Co/City of Newnan couldn’t come up with a better solution.
We had a brief jailbreak yesterday. I saw Tanner out the window (not uncommon) but realized he was on the wrong side of the fence! He and Minnie Pearl had found their way into the feed room and out into some nicer grass. They were quickly returned to their pasture.

I got my hour in on the trainer. Sadly, it appears my metabolism has halted. I know that I eat too much, but I put on three pounds in December, even though I returned to riding the trainer.
Trying to get LinkedIn to understand a new email address. He knows my phone number and he knows the old FRB address isn’t responding. But he still sends the verification code to the old email!! Idiot. there are some connections in LinkedIn I have no where else. Fortunately, I’m in via my phone, but there won’t be any emails for a while.

We watched the newest Knives Out- Netflix movie – Wake Up Dead Man.
It was pretty good.
Daniel Craig as the detective Benoit Blanc is great, and has an all star cast.
