Although my love of British television has spoiled, or “spoilt” at the Brits would say, the ending for me, I’m watching The Celebrity Traitors on Peacock while I ride the bike trainer.

Instead of trying a new recipe tonight, I’m resurrecting something I’ve made many times — “Andouille and Chicken Jambalaya” from “Louisiana Real & Rustic” by Emeril Lagasse.

Wordle: four, my starter was COUPE

  1. Holy shit. I went to make an appointment for the M6 only to find that the Mazda dealer from which I purchased it, and have taken it to exclusively for service, has permanently closed (according to Google)! The service department may still exist, but I will have to wait a few hours to make a phone call.

    Wordle in 4.

Sorry to hear that about the Mazda dealer. I can’t figure out why they have so few dealers. The one that used to be in Doraville is now near Gainesville! There is not one on the Southside now, as far as I know.

Saturday was the Boxing Day hunt and breakfast. Sunday was Debbie’s family Christmas with a Dirty Santa exchange. (Not a fan).

I don’t know if you’ve been following the monks walk for peace. Walking from Dallas to DC, they came through Luthersville yesterday morning and stopped for lunch on one of my regular riding routes. We went to watch them walk by and we were not alone. There were probably 500 folks waiting at the lunch stop. I think it’s pretty cool- they have been getting a lot of attention.

Air suspension is being added to the Toyota- I have the drivers side done and will begin on the passenger side shortly. Hoping to make quick work as it’s starting to get cold quickly.

    • Know the temps are falling, but I haven’t been outside since before the rain front passed through; toady is trash and recycling day for me.

Thanks to the Orange Man I have been keeping my head in the sand and follow as little news as humanly possible.

I just binged all of “Celebrity Traitors” this weekend. The only celebrity I knew was the Nick Mohammed, but I imagine if I actually lived in Great Britain, I’d know more. It’s very good all the way to the end.

    • You’d have known more if, like me, you’ve watched many many hours of British television over the past five years. 🙂 There are only three or four people I don’t know, mostly the younger people.

I’ve watched two episodes thus far, with a third on deck if I can get myself on the trainer today.

  4. Still trying to salvage last week’s disappointing pork and baked beans. Today’s lunch is Brunswick stew, and some of the pork will be thrown into tonight’s jambalaya.

    so – HI

A few more choice words and the air suspension is installed. It’s not hard work, but is a little taxing, going from the creeper under the truck, back up to get whatever is next or what you forgot. And then the dirt from under the truck occasionally rains down on you- safety glasses FTW.

Considering the weather, I think the trainer is a wise idea. Gravel ride on NYD from the brewery in Gay. I’m planning on it.
