It was good to see the Wheelhopper Pub Crawl come into 97 Estoria yesterday, where my buddy Hank and I were seated at the bar.
Today is the day on which I registered for BRAG.
Tonight’s home-cooked meal will be “Cajun Sausage and Potatoes” from “The ‘I Love My Instant Pot’ Affordable Meals Recipe Book” by Aileen Clark.
Wordle: three, my starter was STAKE
Great to see you yesterday Paulie!
Pub crawling on the beltline is super fun, so many unique places to stop for beers.
Great to see you as well, Bob. When I saw the hash ride past 97 Estoria I figured there was no way you all would backtrack.
we had no where we needed to be, of course we backtracked.
– and 97 Estoria has economically priced beer – perfect for a pub crawl!
Very true.
good weekend –
Friday Sally & I watched the Survivor final – was happy with the winner.
But most of the contestants didn’t thrill me – so the fact we liked the winner was good.
Saturday did a walkabout starting at the Marietta Square that was supposed to be with Stacy, but she wasn’t feeling well.
Made the “mistake” of going up to Barrett Pkwy in the afternoon, what a traffic nightmare.
Sunday was the Wheelhopper pub crawl, good times and we a sighting of Paulie (& Hank) & then Jenka’s Kevin at Moe’s & Joe’s.
Last bar had bourbon slushies – it was a good thing it was very near the Carter Center, it was getting dark.
I thought about walking to 97 Estoria from my house, but didn’t want to walk home alone in the dark.
Bourbon slushies and close to the Carter Center. I’m guessing it was Victory?
Fun to see all your pics yesterday. Kev’s mind was blown when you guys walked in! Hahahah!
Victory is correct!
Wordle in 5 and coulda been 3.
Watched Alabama come back from a big deficit to win on Friday.
Saturday was 20 cold miles on Dirty Sheets- in reverse. Seems like it’s a lot tougher that direction. The guy I rode with had really low gears and never had to get out of the saddle. I had to get out, and on sketchy gravel climbs, that can be tough.
Sunday I started the cleanup of the run in. I have some braces to install, but that should be done this morning. dinner last night with Meg and Ella at Taqueria los Hermanos. So so good.

What made you decide to go to 97 Estoria? That feels SO random.
Good weekend. Kevin slept all day Friday but he got up and sat on the couch and watched football with me in the evening. Saturday our nanny came to watch Finn and we went to the CBS Basketball Classic at State Farm Arena. The first game was St. Johns vs Kentucky and that was a great game. Then UNC vs Ohio State. Kevin was decked out in all of his UNC gear and a Santa hat. Sunday I made oatmeal cookies with chocolate chips (because raisins just should not even exist) and a shepherd’s pie. We now have so much food in the house.
The Patriots were the Sunday night game and I bravely stayed up to watch the whole thing and today I am dragging. It’s pretty much me and the front desk guy in the office today.
oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies – YES!!!!
that is the correct way to make an oatmeal cookie.
Agreeance! Kevin wanted butterscotch chips so I will do that next time.
butterscotch chips would be different…….. hmmmmmm
Hank was walking in that neighborhood. And, I love 97 Estoria.
