Thursdays seem to be the day that I have the least to say.

Speaking of tread, John, reach out if you’d like to skip a trip to CarMax (see my comment from yesterday). Every active ITP reader has my number.

My Wordle looked like a big green foam hand today, with 5 tries. I did create a yellow plus sign in Wordle last week…that was a first.

I scored cheap tickets for Devo and the B-52s for Saturday night from VetTix. It definitely pays off for me to keep an eye on that site.

David, I’ve been so distracted by other attentions, I was behind in my ITP lurking the last few days.

Doh! I completed the Honda Element sell deal at Carmax first thing this morning. Once motivated (3 cars and only a 2-car garage), I decided to strike while the iron was hot.

To be honest, I think you dodged a bullet. While a decent car with a low 130,000 miles, it was a …. 5-speed manual. It will need a clutch at some point. Maybe sooner than later.

And for a beginning driver, learned to drive and learning to drive a clutch at the same time is asking a lot of anybody!

    Wordle in 4 and almost a 3.

Went past the auction site and wandered about. Found some steel grates (new, unused) which I could se for the French drain I want to put in the driveway. I;m currently the only bidder.

Little dogs to the vet this morning. George gets to miss this trip.

Rain predicted Sunday while I’m working CX at the Coweta Fair Grounds. yippee.

I was feeling grouchy for no real reason yesterday, but I did rally & went to have dinner at Annette’s (& hear about her knee replacement fun/PT/exercises etc.) It’s been about 2 weeks – she seems to be coming along pretty good.

Did get a little walk in – but my watch isn’t syncing again – so I’ll get that figured out at some point. It’s happened a few times recently – I wonder if its finally getting old & just doesn’t want to work anymore.

  4. Jenka says:

But you aren’t going to report back on how the Mercer meal was?!

Last night was the only night I don’t have something going on after work this week. We ordered in salads and watched the first two episodes of the Diplomat season 3.

    • To be honest, last night’s MCM missed the mark a little. This was the first time that I wasn’t blown away with the offering.

      • David says:

I was a big MCM fan early on, back when Lance was cooking out of his house, but yes, there were some consistency issues, so I dropped off after a while. I’m glad to hear that he seems to be mostly hitting the mark on his offerings.

      • Jenka says:

That’s disappointing. That meal was like everything I like best.

I haven’t ordered MCM since they moved to their new digs, mostly because it’s too far just for takeout.

      • I’d order that schnitzel meal I had on Sunday again in a heartbeat. MCM usually has quality meals, large enough for two, so the $27.50 price is very reasonable.

Back from the periodontist – he can always thing of something to get me to spend more money. Next up (some day in my opinion) a gum graft for a slightly receding spot between 2 teeth.

  6. Went to a Goodwill and saw a three series tv show that looked interesting. Unfortunately, one of the twelve DVDs wasn’t there so I left it behind.

Debbie had asked me to dump the holding tank on the LQ and I had forgotten when camped. I thought the Loves truck stop in Hogansville had a dump, but I couldn’t find any sign of it (they are remodeling the joint). A quick web search had the Georgia welcome center on 85-N at the Alabama line. A quick 30 minute drive with a flip flop in Alabama and the dump station was very convenient and quick. In and out in under 5 minutes.
