Happy birthday to ITP-Reader Debbie.

First!
Wordle in 4 –
didn’t do much yesterday – lunch with a friend, then a walk last night – gifted 2 Christmas wine glasses to a friend that lives nearby – she admired them last year – our bar shelf with wine glasses is too full.
Tonight I’m off to the Braves game with Enema(Dave) Pantywaste (Randy) & Butt Sucker (Liz). Delta 360 seats – so bougie free eating a& drinking before the game. They want to pick me up around 4, game isn’t until 7 something – we will be drunk & full!!!
That’s perfect, then you can leave at the 7th inning stretch and avoid all the traffic! Have fun!
It’s so late, where is everybody?
Yesterday was Kevin’s birthday and we went to see the comedian Jimmy Carr at the Tabernacle. Wow, that guy does not care about political correctness, every single joke was about the R word and everything else we’re not supposed to make fun of. It was refreshing not to have to worry about it, actually.
Thank goodness it’s Friday, what a week. Our only plan this weekend is to get mani-pedis.
I’ve seen Carr host British panel shows, and a couple of his stand up routines on YouTube. I like his comedy well enough, but not enough to have paid to see it. I know, I’m cheap.
I bet it was fun.
A friend is going to see Josh Johnson at the Cobb Energy Center tonight – he’s funny – I really like him (but no time to go for me)
She was asking me about where to eat before the game, I was like – the Braves are in town, so not the Battery.
Oooh, tell them to go to Cinco Mexican Cantina. That is walking distance to the Cobb Energy Centre and it’s wonderful.
More than in years past, or maybe I’m just a little more tuned in, Nritish comedians are touring the US this year.
beat me by 2 minutes
Another humid, 3.5 mile walk. Trying hard to incorporate daily exercise into my life again.
Sprinklers did their thing in WLF this morning, so everything is wet and I can’t get out there to work.
Keeping fingers crossed that the blower motor is the only HVAC problem. It’s almost shocking how much condensation occurs on cold glass, or anything taken out of the refrigerator, when your humidity level isn’t being managed.
And there are some impressive spider webs around WLF and the ITP Estate. There is one for which I have no idea how the spider connected two points since there is about a twenty foot gap between the anchor points!
Does the post office have a policy to deliver bad news on Fridays?
I was looking for a reason to go to Whole Foods in Decatur once the HVAC system is repaired, and now I have one – argue about billing with the eye doctor on Scott Blvd.
Wordle in 3!
A couple more weekly meeting send offs yesterday. Both had high praise for my work and that’s always nice to hear.
As we’re celebrating Debbie’s lap with the horsey pals tonight, I took her to our favorite sushi place and we tried to hurt ourselves- she succeeded.
Watching the weather and going for a ride soon.

where is your favorite sushi place these days?
Tomo! South from EM and HN’s exit 51. North for us, of course.
They make a “2020 roll” which they sometimes serve very neatly and sometimes serve like a train wreck- just like 2020.
For me the only good fish is beer battered and fried, served with fries. Lol
There’s a lot of sushi that’s cooked. It’s not all raw.
I’ve never acquired the love for seafood, either raw or cooked. I make exceptions for fish and chips, cooked shrimp, and steamed mussels.
we went to Red Lobster the other night – I ordered the flounder that was crunch fried. It was really good. I wonder what their fish n chips is like? I’m a sucker for fish n chips. (Australian Bakery has excellent fish n chips, I need to get there one of these days again, plus, I could use some meat pies for my freezer)
Crunch fried. Sounds so good!
Red Lobster really was pretty good – found an old gift card. Might have to go back again someday.
I mean, it has been atleast 10 years.
Allan got the steak & lobster special – steak was just ok (I said – what do you expect at a seafood joint)
I do t think I’ve been to a Red Lobster in forty years. If I have it was within the past ten years with my mother and I’ve erased that memory from my mind.
Since my oak tree produced no acorns last year, I was hoping this would be a mast year for acorns. I just looked at the tree and I didn’t see a single acorn on it. Bummer, I was going to try and make acorn flour this year.
acorns on the metal roof are lots of fun.
you can come wander around my yard to see if there are the correct ones for anything you might want to make
Lol, no I was going to see what I could make from my tree.
I have about a thousand acorns on my deck right now you are welcome to
HVAC tech is here. I’m very much ready to have cool, air conditioned air again. And it’s not even that warm today!
There is cool air blowing, and much rejoicing! Now, to see if there is less rejoicing based on any payment necessary…
23 in the books. Muddy in places after yesterday’s rain.
Anyone else notice A$$hole and his wife are moving to Pau France?
Now will be a good resource for the tour.
I hadn’t thought of A$$hole since he didn’t get the job at Ionic.
I unfriended him on FB quite a long time ago – way too much politics & nothing else. I don’t mind politics, but throw in a dog pic, a joke, something else occasionally.
Enjoying my extra day off 🙂
You don’t think much about your AC until it’s gone, then it is a crisis. Crazy how accustomed we get to comfort.
Laying Wheelhopper this weekend and went to get my flour bag and there is already 2 bags of flour in there, bonus! I really don’t like laying trail but really enjoy when it is done and the hashers have fun.
Nice.
Agreed. I’m enjoying the cool, dry air currently.
Haring was hit or miss for me. I didn’t mind reccyling, laying Black Sheep was always stressful, but I was always relieved when everyone got in.
well – it isn’t advertised – but I think plenty of WH trails are not actually live anymore. If & when I get forced to hare – it will NOT be live.
I stressed about pre-lays too, but every live trail definitely.
And I failed to ask if you can use hickory nuts as we have a butt-load!
Hickory? Not sure.
I’ve picked up some (horse?) chestnuts, but not for eating, for planting.
$200 for the Yakima rocket box roof box – SOLD!!!!
The rich keep getting richer. 🙂
Well done!
facebook marketplace is useful.
you could always make a new profile – just use for that sort of thing.
Getting rid of stuff for money is fun!
Nah. I will be starting a massive clean out soon, and will reconsider then.
