I went to an incredible Asian market yesterday called “Nam Dae Mun” in Morrow yesterday. It was huge, occupying a former Target store. There is a high likelihood that I will return in the future.

Unlike many trips south of I-285 for car maintenance, the reason I went south yesterday was to go to the Home Depot on Jonesboro Rd. Unfortunately once again the item I was told was in stock wasn’t to be found anywhere.

I cushioned the Home Depot blow with a couple of High Lifes and a delicious Turkey club sandwich at Ideal Sports Bar.

Wordle: four, my starter was SPRAY

Nam Dae Mun – there’s more than 1 around town. There’s one on Spring Rd just a little west of the Battery. Smaller than Super H mart, but a good store.

Speaking of Asian things – Allan & I went to Revolving Sushi Factory last night. It’s not the best sushi in the world, but its entertaining having it come past your table so you can decide what looks good. We ordered a couple things off the tablet. just so the little monorail thing could bring it to us.

    what else-
Allan’s air chamber on his side of the sleep number bed has decided to lose air. We’ve done all the troubleshooting we can do, I need to call soon to get a new chamber ordered.
BTW Bob – we went to a store to get these caps (part of the troubleshooting stuff) & they looked up my account (to figure out how old our bed is) & wanted to remind us about the credit we have on account. Sooooo – pick out a pillow, or 2, or sheets or something.

New air chamber ordered – totally a call center in India or somewhere like that -but – we got it done.
They say expedited shipping, we will see………….

The LQ is hitched up and after some chores and horse appointments, we’ll head to Stone Mountain for the weekend. Bringing a bike and hiking boots. And 3 dogs. This should be interesting.

Just to make sure the AC was working, I fired up the new generator for an hour or so. We’ll hopefully never need to use it in a camp setting, as that damn thing is LOUD. Are there any actual electricians in the hash? I need someone to look at how the previous owner had their generator hooked up and if it’s still viable and what I need to do to connect this rig. It’s not big enough to power the whole house, but close.

    • Barb says:

is the generator part of the trailer? or a completely separate one?

      • Steve says:

Completely separate. The trailer came with matching Honda’s that hook together- they both run, but for some reason, the night the power was out and we bailed to the trailer, they didn’t want to play. We bought this new monster at Harbor Freight at 30% off on a one day sale we just happened upon.

  4. I watch a YT channel where they shown themselves overhauling bikes. In the last episode they did this to a semi-recent Trek road bike, and the amount of technology blew my mind and made me realize that I’d never be able to do maintenance on a modern bicycle (not that I do much on my fourteen year old Trek since Allan is far better at it than I am).

  5. One of my enforcers (hawk) was just sitting on the deck railing. Unfortunately it flew off before I could snap an image.

  6. David says:

Alice Cooper put on a fantastic show, but after two Judas Priest songs, I was in need of Jenka’s neck stabber. Third song was one of their hits, and even that couldn’t keep us there. They truly sounded like a cat caught in a car engine. Geezer rock is truly dicey.

  7. Since I pay for YT Premium I rarely watch any videos which include paid promotions, read “ads”, since the entire reason that I pay for YT Premium is to get rid of ads. I keep wishing YT would add the option to claim “Contains Paid Promotion” to the list of reasons that I don’t find the video interesting. Related: I’m trying to decide if I should cancel YT Premium and kick the YT habit.

Hello from the Skyclub in concourse B of the Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson International Airport! We are headed to Detroit for a quick getaway and to check another baseball stadium off our list. Braves play the Tigers this weekend and we will be at the game tomorrow. Had a lovely visit with my brother and we travelled to the airport together and got him into the Skyclub.

Hankook bulgogi tacos for lunch- Had to meet Allan to give him something he needed from the house. So good, So good.
