One of the nice things to learn when pretending to be a farmer is what plants can survive freezing temperatures. The other night I picked some Chinese cabbage and baby bok choy to add to the meal of frozen dumplings and Chinese noodles that I made for dinner. I still have some of these greens in WLF to eat before they go bad.

I received an email about next year’s Bo Bikes Bama. In this email it said that the 2025 rendition will be the last one. I’ve ridden Bo Bikes Bama once, and was signed up for it in 2020 when it got cancelled along with everything else in the world. It’s usually scheduled the weekend following BRAG STU, but due to that being held early this year because of Easter, there will be more separation so I may have to try to sign up for its final ride.

Because I wasn’t paying I ate at Little Alley Steak in Buckhead last night. The meal was a gift from one of my friends for helping him out. What people pay for food is obscene to me. Don’t get me wrong, everything I ate, my entree was the pork chop because I couldn’t wrap my head around paying $60+ for a steak with no accompanying sides, was delicious. I am noting all of this for future Paulie, who will never again have stepped foot inside this restaurant, and will try to remember its name.

I baked a pillowy loaf of white bread yesterday. Except for some unusual spots which arose during baking the result rose properly tastes delicious.
