Volunteering at Trees Atlanta again this morning. If I have any energy afterwards I will continue to clean up Wee Little Farm. Yesterday I saw a hawk snacking on something in WLF, and when it flew away it took its prey with it.

Good morning from SCOTLAND! No Wordle yet, just clearing customs. I slept a bit and Debbie had no such luck.

Wordle in 3. Debbie looked over my shoulder and saw your starter and got it in 1.

Flight was pretty calm and customs was just a passport check. Bus to city center and a 10 minute walk to our hotel. Crashing for a bit before we meet Meg for some lunch.

Everything went great yesterday with the scholarly panel and big reception afterwards. I was right about being here until 8:00 last night- it was still going on but winding down and I was dead on my feet. Today is the official Convocation ceremony followed by a community lunch. Fingers crossed the rain stops before 11:00!

Ok, regarding “pecan”, I was raised saying “puh-kan”, so I was shook a few months ago to learn the proper pronunciation is “pee-can”. I had it wrong for decades.

  5. Poured like hell as we worked under cover at Trees Atlanta. Thankfully the rain had subsided by the time I rode the Beltline home.

Either slept through alarms or never set them and missed meeting Meg in the lobby. She wandered until we woke up and met her for lunch. Now back at the hotel to crash.

eSIM sorta works. Had to reboot the phone. Had no internet wandering. Ki da the point when you need a map.

Done! Everything went great, with a few hiccups. The rain magically stopped just before the event. Now I have been on the go all day and am just sitting down and having something to eat. Glad that’s over.
