Wee Little Farm is off to a struggling start. For some reason four of the six pepper plants I put out last week he died. That’s annoying, especially since these were plants I purchased at Lowe’s, which means that they cost me more money than the priced of a seed and compost. Hopefully the seeds I planted a few weeks ago will continue to grow, and all won’t be lost.

I wish I could understand why certain critters do the damage they do. I went out to Wee Little Farm the other morning to find all of the little tree seedlings in one of my pots either eaten away, or pulled from the soil.

Wordle: four, my starter was MARSH

  1. After drinking far too much wine last night I slept on Chip’s couch, and am home with a MASSIVE hangover headache.

I still plan to drop my bike off at Barb’s and Allan’s, and make a stop at Schoolhouse, but I’m not moving quickly at the moment.

  2. Barb says:

We are getting some good rain – FINALLY.

Allan’s cousin & husband are supposed to be coming thru town again tonight, on their way from FL back to OH. Of course Allan is working.
I haven’t heard from them yet, so hope they don’t get an early start, which means I don’t have to entertain them too much.

Wordle in 3 and that was with a whiff first word.

AC in the new truck is fixed. I took it to the local mechanic, fully expecting to ride my bike home while they worked, but they dropped everything to check it out. Replaced both high and low inlet valves and charged it up. $180.

I started my concrete cutting experiment with a drain line by Debbie’s wash rack. What I learned is it’s hard to keep the saw tracking straight. Close, but not accurate enough doesn’t cut it (ha!). I had to modify the saw by adding to the guide foot so a fence could be used. I’ll test this morning.

Please send rain farther south. TYVM.

  4. Whole lot of Wordle threes in the ITP Community. Wish I had been one of them. 🙂

  5. Jenka says:

Busy day today! Lots of end-of-year work to do now before graduation.

It’s not pouring here, more of a light rain.

  6. Steve says:

The rain finally showed up, of course while I was trying to cut concrete. After getting soaked, I rigged a sheet of barn roof leftover on the forks of the tractor to at least have a little dry space. Need a pop up tent for these days. Added to the shopping list.

  7. Back from Marietta. I dropped my road bike off at the Garagemahal before heading to Schoolhouse Brewing. Today I just claimed my free four-pack, and confused the employee when I told him that I wasn’t going to have a beer, even though it is BOGO for me today,
