Because I have nearly complete control of my eating schedule and quantity, I started following a new regime last week in an effort to shed weight. Before last week I would wake early, eat a substantial breakfast, start thinking about lunch, do stuff, eat lunch, do stuff, and then make and eat something for dinner. Even with daily exercise that is too many calories for my 60-year-old metabolism. Now, I wake up and if I am hungry, I will eat a tiny breakfast and limiting myself to two meals per day, eaten roughly at brunch time and dinner time.

Instead of mounting my trainer yesterday I went out for a four-mile walk because the weather was so nice.

With the help of my modifications last night’s recreation of “Red Beans and Rice” from “Louisiana Real & Rustic” by Emeril Lagasse was fantastic! The only drawback was that I ate a little too much.

Wordle: three, my starter was SPRAY

  1. I might have to adjust my laundry routine as there are a lot more people doing laundry than on other Tuesdays. Normally I hog all of the folding table space because I am the only one in here at this time of day.

    Wordle in 4.

Ran errands, got my back cracked, splurged at Dairy Queen. Was sorta hoping today would be like yesterday, but it’s currently foggy and I ain’t riding in this soup.

Off to the eye doctor this afternoon and might have to find lunch before. Then the monthly Games meeting.

George goes to the groomer tomorrow. He’s such a delicate flower, he might have a complete meltdown. We shall see.

Sushi as usual, then we watched three episodes of OMITB. That is about my limit, I start to forget what they’re talking about if I watch too many in a row.

Bright sunlight and clear skies here, Steve. Maybe your fog will clear out!

I never eat more than twice a day. My natural rhythms mean that I am never hungry for breakfast, so I generally eat lunch and dinner and that’s it. Often on weekends I only eat one meal in mid-afternoon.

I just cooked my last garage breakfast! Kitchen will be done today! There is a small drywall repair they will have to come back for tomorrow but after today the kitchen will be done.
I can’t believe this only took just over 3 weeks. My neighbor did his kitchen and it took 4 months! Granted he moved walls and had to wait for city approvals. I’m extremely happy with the job and can’t wait to start using it.

Don’t forget to tune in at noon for mixed doubles curling. American team going for gold!

I was thinking your reno was happening super fast! When we did ours they said 6 weeks and in reality it was more than 11 weeks. However, we were also doing a bathroom, so that added some time.
