I think that sometimes I have the memory of a goldfish. Side note: I wonder when the new season of “Ted Lasso” will drop, and if I will watch it. Anyway, I had set myself a reminder to buy a new lightweight camping chair for BRAG. However, when I was working in the basement I found that I already purchased one! In looking at my Amazon purchase history I learned that I apparently buy a new lightweight camping chair about every 4-5 years, as I bought one in July 2016, November 2020, and November 2025. Interesting…?

Two weeks after I acquired the entire series of “Fawlty Towers”, Britbox announced that it’s going to start streaming the show at the end of next month. Oh well, it’s nice to have it to watch on DVD as well…

  1. I managed to spend $107 at Kroger this morning, which means that I will be saving 40¢/gallon of gas when I fill up in April. To be fair, $19 of that was on a large jar of maple syrup. No alcohol was purchased, because that doesn’t accrue Fuel Points.

  2. Did it snow last night? Oh no, that’s just pollen…

Got off Marta at 8:40. Now we’re in lines. We’ll see we’re gonna be here plenty of time we’re gonna have time for breakfast and lunch. I think before our flight.

    Wordle in 4.

Barb, hopefully the lines move along. I heard from someone who made it through in about 45 minutes yesterday, but that was mid-afternoon.

Will get prepared for racing today. I’m pretty sure all my watches for my scooter will need batteries and I will need to get all my gear together for an early departure tomorrow.

We’re about to be at the point of having walking puppies! This should be fun. They are in a contained area, but still fun.

40 minutes & we are done.
At our 1st stop on our now (food/drink) pub crawl

  6. Knocking out chores like I’m Mike Tyson (in the 1990s).

    • Next up, start the fermentation process on the head of cabbage I bought Wednesday in order to make sauerkraut.

In other fermentation news: my sourdough starter went flat after Day 2. I wonder if my house was too chilly for it? I will start again today.

Baseball is back! Red Sox won their first game, they have not won the first game in 5 years so this is a good start. It was during the day so I didn’t get to watch it. I made chicken and veggie stir fry for dinner and Kevin and I stayed up late talking and I am dragging today. On the plus side, we did solve all the world’s problems.

  8. Barb says:

Bobby’s Burger Palace in B terminal. Decided to go Diet Coke.
    Allan got a beer.
We have an hour to get to C.

  9. I realize it will garner no pity, but sometimes it’s exhausting not having a jobby-job. I’ve been going nonstop since 6:30am, with little respite in sight. Currently eating lunch, and will have to clean up the mess I’ve made afterward.

    • After washing up I need to look at my bar bike to see if it’s fit to ride Critical Mass tonight. I realized this morning that I might not have any tubes for this bike, I can’t recall its tire size. If I don’t have any properly-sized tubes I can either get my mountain bike ready, or, run to Loose Nuts to see if they have tubes in stock.

I also want to plant some pepper seed today, which means preparing some soil for seed starting.

Back from 23, starting from where we had Cyrus in boot camp. Some roads I used to ride from the old farm. Not much changed- still hilly AF, but the wind blew me home mostly.
