I do a very poor job at shaping today’s loaf of bread. I hope I am pleasantly surprised by the result, though I doubt that I will be.

Got out on the motorcycle yesterday and ended up at Schoolhouse brewing, can’t believe I have never been there before. Very cool place and I will be back.

busy enough weekend – nothing too interesting

I spent most of the weekend binge watching the latest (2025) Great British Bake Off which was illegally uploaded to YouTube.
Back in the office, wer wer. What a great break! We came back from the cabin on Saturday, went to the Albert for dunch, then watched football. Yesterday I watched the Patriots demolish the Dolphins and made a hot dog, elbow pasta, and veggie casserole with a white cheddar sauce. Finn ate his whole serving!
I said some very nasty words when we got to the cabin last week and found that someone has bought the lot RIGHT NEXT DOOR and they are already in the process of building. UUUUUUUGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH.

A house catty corner (is that the correct spelling?) – Laird’s & Mary’s – has gone up for sale and was quite popular with the open house crowd yesterday.
The whole point of going up there is to be alone. Now there will be people right up in our business. They will be able to see into our master bedroom and also the entire deck. Total nightmare.

Managed to get the wheel bearings greased on the LQ. This was complicated by a dead battery to drive the leveler so I could hitch up. After charging for a few hours, the battery was still no better. Sunday morning, I bought a new battery and all is well.
Saturday night, we went over to friends for some dinner and dominoes. I will say I didn’t have high score, but I was close.
Planned on riding with the group out of Harrelson but decided I needed to finish the trailer. Today there will be riding. And the previously mentioned trip to Ohio for a horse will be next week.
