We went to dinner with Kevin, Davey & Chris – Food Terminal over in Sandy Springs.
They had a little robot waiter that brought the food to the table, but then the waitress needed to actually hand it to us.

Wordle in 5 and coulda been 3.

Debbie wants to go to breakfast, so work is on hold at the moment. I did manage not to fall off the roof when I was doing the final nailing of the perlins.

Hopefully a ride later today, as it’s supposed to be 60!

    • I can’t wait for it to warm up a little. I’m tired of being cold and have outdoor chores to do.

Allan worked outside all day yesterday – the easement behind the neighbor’s house is very overgrown with ivy, etc. There is access from the cul-de-sac to it – and it would be WAY EASIER to get the camper into its parking spot as a drive thru. We talked to the neighbor, they are fine with it, and like the idea, as they could get back to the back of their land easier as well. I think a couple trees might be in the way, so this may not be just a labor intensive idea, it might cost money. We will see………..

Work dinner at Delbar was a resounding success, although the service was pretty slow. They have 8 million staff and half of them are wearing headsets like it’s a sports stadium and yet we still waited 30 minutes for dessert. Oh well, the food was delish.

The Deep Fryer Disaster (TM) occurred over 10 years when I only used it 3 or 4 times and each time I didn’t want to waste aaaaaaalllll the oil you have to use just for one thing, so it sat on the counter for a week or maybe two weeks and then we would just dump the oil anyway and put the gadget back in the cabinet where it took up space for another two years before I used it again just to make one thing and then it sat on the counter again, etc. So I can’t get another gadget unless I will actually use it. I will definitely use an air fryer fairly often but it would be a great help if it were combined with the toaster oven.

    • Barb says:

hey Jenka – I used my old school toaster this morning for a bagel.

I used to think a deep fryer would be fun, but realized we wouldn’t use it enough.
We even stopped deep frying turkeys – so much oil for 1 day use. We did have a party where everyone brought stuff to fry the weekend after Thanksgiving 1 year, but we never did that again either.

      • Jenka says:

I am jealous of your working toaster! 🙂

Yes, that is why I’m sure I will use an air fryer fairly often. A deep fryer is messy and wasteful but fried things are so tasty! Technically I could already use my fairly new oven but it wouldn’t be as efficient.

      • Steve says:

I’m not sure how we ever lived without an air fryer! Daily use for me, and that’s multiple times a day.

        • Barb says:

I guess since I don’t have an air fryer I don’t understand how you use it all day long every day.
Enlighten me, what all do you use it for?

          • David says:

“Air fryer” is a fancy name for a convection oven, which circulates heat around your food. Bottom line, food cooks faster and easier. Once you get a vibe for it, I think you’ll discover a million things that you can cook in it. I was an the “I don’t need a fucking air fryer” camp for years, but I use mine on the regular now.

  5. Steve says:

Delicious breakfast and stops at Lowe’s and HD. Back to work shortly.
