I thought that my chocolate peppermint crinkle cookies were really good. The judges at the Trees Atlanta volunteer lunch and cookie contest had other opinions however, as I didn’t even crack the top ten out of the twenty-seven cookies entered.
Wordle: five, my starter was SLIDE
Might be time to shelve SLIDE as a starter…
Wordle in 4.
The trip to Lexington and back was pretty much a piece of cake. After dropping Cash off at the transfer barn, I dropped the trailer and sought an oil change. Debbie hadn’t bothered to change the oil lately and I got a message to “change soon”. Grrr… I was also getting an alert about low coolant, but shut that one up by adding water to the overflow tank. And I was running low on DEF, but fortunately Buc-ee’s has that at a pump, which makes it very easy.
Sunday, I put some of the sides up on the run in. Going to leave one end open to help with putting the roof on. Need to order the tin this week.
Rode 35 minutes while watching Somebody Feed Phil in the Basque Country. somewhere else I need to add to my list.

Allan hates DEF, just hates it. That’s why our big ass truck has a gasoline engine.
Chocolate peppermint crinkle cookies sounds like my perfect cookie. I would’ve eaten all of them!
I was supposed to go to the Hawks game on Friday but I was too ragged out from the work week so I begged off. Kevin and I went to Rathbun Steak for a quiet dinner and early evening. Saturday we went to the General Muir for lunch, and that was the only time we left the house all weekend. Yesterday neither of our teams played but we watched all the other games and I made pigs in blankets and nachos. I also made a casserole with the leftover nacho meat and rice.
After being disappointed by all of the teams I have even the tiniest interest for, I’ve decided to give up on sports. Not watching Bundesliga will make it easier to cancel Disney+/Hulu/ESPN+ next year.
Being a sports fan means a lot of heartache, that’s for sure.
You know, I try to just not care about most sports, so I can watch whatever.
Indiana beating Ohio State was Fun to see.
Hyox party was Saturday night, very blah catered dinner, and they had 2 belly dancers as the entertainment.
Very busy work day.
i agree, SLIDE isn’t a good start word 😉
