    Wordle in 4.

While Debbie was taking Tanner to the saddle fitting, she noticed a cut on his leg. Stopping by the vet, he’s now on 10 days stall rest! Damn horses. With that, and the additional medication routine, I will be flying solo to Lexington tomorrow to deliver Cash.

Half the rafters are up. A bit of a trick to lift them into place, but I’m a tricky trickster. Had a neighbor who I haven’t met stop by and volunteer to help. Very nice. I seem to recall a caravan of rental trucks back in August. He was the reason.

Over the past couple months I have successfully got rid of about 5 items that we had around the house through the local Buy Nothing group. Like I had a weighted blanket that was literally still in the box and taking up space in the linen closet. It is very satisfying to 1. Get rid of things; and B. Know that they are going to someone in the neighborhood who is actually going to use it.

Everything at work went well yesterday but when I got home I did not want to cook dinner so we went to Surin. Then an episode of TAR. Only two more episodes in this season.

Exciting times yesterday – sent my Christmas cards to CVS – they printed them all with a white line thru them. They tried reprinting (while we were at Jersey Mike’s next door – same white line. They switched out the ink cartridges, still had the line. I said give me a refund & they said they could send to another store. The guy said the online order refund wasn’t that simple. So we went to the other store last night to pickup the ones that looked right. I now have way too many cards, since he let me keep some of the ones with the white line.

  4. My day turned on a dime when I realized the tree work I heard after breakfast was occurring next door. In talking with my neighbor I discovered the Big Bad Insurance Company had told her to cut down branches overhanging their house, and those branches were connected to my tree. (I know, if it hangs over their property they have the right to trim.) While looking at the last three large branch segments on the ground one of the workers offered to drop them into my yard, which they did, and I have subsequently cut them into smaller pieces. I also brought out my toy wood chipper and chewed up some of the smaller branches.

I’m giving myself a bit of a rest, have eaten lunch, and will be on the move to productivity again shortly.

It was just misting enough to already call it a day on the run in shed. I got the rest of the rafters and have to do some thinking on how best to proceed. Some header trimming, how much roof to overhang along sides. Then I need to order the “tin” for the roof. At the moment, it looks like a pergola.
