Wordle in 3. A complete whiff yesterday, so my streak of 12 was snapped. I’m brokenhearted.

A great weekend of racing in NC. Held in a beautiful park in the middle of town, huge fields, great racing, nice accommodations- rental house on a lake. A good crew to work with as well. Hope to be asked back.

We got back from dinner Saturday evening in time for me to watch the debacle that GT played giants Pitt. We were on the comeback, but a pick 6 and a late score deflated any hopes. I turned it off and went to sleep. Sad.

Yeah, GT’s been doing so well this year we thought they would win easily against Pitt. Not so much! Saturday will either be interesting or a complete blowout.

MASSIVE success this morning. MASSIVE. In what I feel is hopefully the final chapter in the Name Change Saga (TM). I had been stymied (lol) in changing my name in the Trusted Traveler Program, which does TSA Pre-Check and Global Entry, because of the government shutdown (as well as the lack of information or instructions on their website). When the government came back on there were still no directions on their website whatsoever about what to do in case of a name change. So I AI Googled it and they told me to just show up at the office, which is now housed in the international terminal. It took barely 5 minutes and the worst part about the whole thing was the drive back up the connector at rush hour. YAY!

who knew they had an office at the airport? No me!
that’s great you got it fixed

      • Jenka says:

It used to be down 85 south of the perimeter, so I was surprised to hear that the office had moved to the airport. But it makes sense!

Good work! Imagine, an office for travel documentation actually being in a place where you travel!! Who woulda thunk it?

    busy weekend –
did 2 decently long hikes at Kennesaw Mtn – both were a little more than 5 & 1/2 miles. 2 totally different parts of the park, and both did not have a ton of elevation.

Biggest success – I went to a coin shop & sold all the coins that my grandpa & dad collected back in the day – I think I got an ok price, but will I ever know??? Nope! But – its done.
They told me the stamps probably aren’t worth much, as no one really collects stamps anymore. (but – they don’t really deal with stamps, so I need to search more) There is a stamp show in January 2026 in Peachtree Corners – I may try that.
