Rode a hard (for me) ride last night, my cardio didn’t want to play. This morning I’m a bit hobbled by an aching knee.
Other than that, I’ve nothing to report.
Wordle: five, my starter was ALERT
Connections: perfect, Green > Blue > Purple > Yellow
Wordle in 4 and if you saw what I had at 3, you’d be impressed.
I thought I was going to have to travel to St. Louis to lay a beatin’ on some useless engineers yesterday, but I let the urge pass and will attempt to get along with everyone today. Still don’t know if I’m spending this weekend in Newark.
Watched more track racing last night while on the trainer for a half hour. Today should be fun- match sprints and the US women will ride for gold against the Brits in team pursuit.

Was not my best Wordle day. On my third guess I guessed a word using a letter in the same incorrect place as it was in my second guess.
Just realized I never put the Connections colors in the order in which I solved them today.
On what will unfortunately be the hottest day of the week I transplanted some small kale plants this morning, even up on a second story deck the insects have started nibbling the leaves, so I am hoping that under some netting they will be protected?
Why today and not when it gets cooler later this week? Tune in tomorrow…
Wordle in 4 starting with LIGHT. Connections: X, Y, G, X, X, P, B. Had to use a hint to get me started in Strands.
The track and field events have been fun to watch. The men’s 1500 was crazy. Haven’t watched any of the bike events. Maybe I will today.
Did manage to cut my grass, edge and trim yesterday before the GUTS run. Hopefully can get to the other chores that need to get done.
Ooh, I am supposed to mow my lawn again this morning. Thanks for the reminder!
you are supposed to?
who says? 😉
Seriously! lol
Yes, I had it on my mind but never wrote it into my to do list. It will make more sense tomorrow.
Job done! As an added bonus I got to chat with Stan, who was out walking his dog.
All day work retreat yesterday followed by a group dinner at A Mano (yes, I got to pick the venue 🙂 ). Long day and I’m glad it’s over. Today should be a normal day at work!
Normal… what’s that??
Sally, so far it’s been timed events, so not the most exciting. Today will start match sprint qualifying and the first round. Should be more interesting.
Back to back meetings but all regularly scheduled meetings, nothing out of the ordinary. I’ll take it over trust falls every day and twice on Sunday!
I got nothing – pretty boring around here.
Returned some Amazon shoes to Kohl’s, grabbed a couple things at Aldi.
Oh – but did see a couple foxes last night right before dusk – the neighbor that feeds the feral cats is now putting out food (hotdogs?) for the foxes – so she texted when she saw them out there.
I hope you texted a pic to Stacy!
I put the pics on FB – I almost tagged her
Oh you better believe I saw them! 🙂
Approved behavior! 🙂
I was afraid you were going to say that the feral cats were going to be the fox food.
Rufus & LuLu I think can hold their own out there in the ‘hood. Hoping to see the groundhog again this trip too.
Watching women beach volleyball. (Thought it said the track racing on E in the guide in the newspaper ). The Brazil team is actually wearing shorts! Of all the teams, I figured they’d be wearing the tiny briefs.
Hahaha. Maybe the Brazilian women don’t want to show off their Brazilians? :O
You got me to check Peacock, on which I just watched the gold medal 4000m men’s team track event. Exciting stuff.
It just came on. Very exciting finish.
Oh wait, it was team pursuit
Now watching Synchronized swimming.
Damn these girls are strong.
Not sure it should be an Olympic event, but it’s pretty entertaining
