I’m starting to sound like a broken record, but I didn’t do a whole lot of blog-worthy stuff last night…
One Step Closer
Yesterday I brought in someone to look at replacing the electrical outlet that I plan to have AT&T use for a U-Verse installation. The job seemed to be fairly simple, so I also mentioned having him look into the light switch in the kitchen which I’ve yet to repair.
It all seems to be okay, now I just need to find time next week to schedule the repairs as he was unable to do the work last night.
Slow Going With The iPhone Development Learning
It gets me a bit frustrated when I don’t accomplish what I set out to do (see also: take more photographs).
While far from alone, I was one of the people who realized how important the internet would be back in 1992 — and I did nothing about it!
When Apple announced a software development kit for the iPhone I realized that would be game changing and set about to learn iPhone development — and then I got sidetracked.
So now I’m determined to get involved. Learning how to develop code is not beyond my skills, I just need to dedicate more time to getting this done. I know that it will make me happier…
Bring on the iPad!
Bring on the completion of the organization of my LLC!

Ugh, nothing today. I couldn’t even get a dopey shot like I did yesterday.
RealiTV Update: Survivor Lost Out To Sleep
I fell asleep really early last night, while watching iPhone development videos. Ugh. I’ll be listening to last night’s episode later today so please no spoilers.
Another Big Weekend Ahead
Hey, it’s a Black Sheep Hash weekend. That’s right, I’m planning on going Sunday. One of the hares on Sunday is ITP-Reader Betsy (aka “Boner Rooter”); last year she and her co-hair Claire (aka “Blue Ball Special”) brought us snow, I’m anxious to see what they have in store for us this year.
I’m also planning on using the predicted sunshine this weekend to do a little photography using some of the information provided to me from some of my fellow hashers about abandoned cars and houses.

“I seem to be forgetting about a lot of things lately”…yes like part of the blog? What happend with the outlet?? I *have* to know 😉
Not sure if I’ll make the hash this weekend. Jerry’s brother is in town and I’ll be at Stone Mountain for the GA CrossFit Sectionals. Its the first time our gym has competed in an offical CF event. I’m so not ready for this but bring on the “Pain Train”!
Aw crap! This is what happens when TextExpander fails to work and I incorrectly code my own html. Dangen! Martha, I’m using your guy David for the electrical work.
This just in…. I just returned from Barnes & Noble where I purchased “Limited Liability Companies for Dummies”. Another book for me to read (just what I needed) and I made a purchase from a brick and mortar bookstore.
And I did watch Survivor last night…… and you didn’t….. oh well…….
Wheelhopper is Sunday & we are the unprepared hares, so no Black Sheep for us. But – it is similar to a trail we did 3 years ago & the weather was crappy tehn, so had a very small crowd, so it is just like a new trail to most everyone.
Martha – good luck with this cross fit thing – if you keep it up, I see you power lifting or something like that in the Summer Games some day.
I’m caught up on Survivor now Barb. It’s one of the benefits of having a DVR and tv on one’s desk. 😉
Was that one of the more mis-matched challenges? I guess with so many stong players it is hard to give them all air time, but I miss Tyson’s crazy comments – there hasn’t been enough of those.
That was an incredibly one-sided challenge. I’m loving that the seem to have combine reward/immunity into one challenge lately, this provides more “personality time” which is even better when bikinis are involved.
I’m starting to dislike James and may agree that he’s on. The wrong team.
I didn’t watch Tyson’s original season (I’ve skipped about four season) so I don’t know much about him.
Cool, I’m glad you got Dave to come out. I think you’ll be happy with his work.
Thanks, i’m going to need it. I’m too old for the games but my weight lifting coach might be there in 2012. He missed the team last time by one spot. Sorry I’ll miss your trail.
I just got an email about Up the Creek Without a Pedal, anyone going? I’m not sure, I have that weekend free but its about my only free weekend in May.
