And tomorrow I shall…
A Long, Yet Successful Night Of Laundry
I found that Thursday nights seem to be fairly empty at my favorite laundromat next to Lee’s Bakery. I dumped my clothes into three small washing machines and headed over for a sandwich. At Lee’s I noticed a family eating spring rolls which looked delicious, so I decided to order a pair to accompany my sandwich. My assessment was right as the spring rolls were indeed delicious and I can see myself adding them to orders in the future when my hunger permits.
Comfortably Bum
The last thing I’ll say about my clothing is that it’s “stylish.” Today, I’ve taken it down a notch and, while I’m not in my formerly signature t-shirt, I’ve not given a lot of effort into looking great today. Today I’m rocking the my old Puma blue suede sneakers, some blue jeans, and an un-ironed, unbuttoned shirt which exposes a clean, white undershirt below it.
Ambivalence is a dangerous game to play, but it’s the only game that feels right for me today.

I take better photos of animals than I do people.
Yes I know that this is blurry, that’s the way I want it.
RealiTV Update : I Forgot Survivor Was On Last Night!
Crap, I forgot that Survivor was on last night. How could this happen to me?
I’m “watching” it at work right now as I type, so I’ll know last night’s outcome by the time you read this.
I will say that this is the prettiest cast that has ever been assembled, with one or two exceptions of course. 😉
Have A Great Weekend All!
I’ve not much to report and a busy day ahead of me so this a short one today. I hope that you all have a lot planned for what looks to be an awesome weather weekend in Atlanta. I finally caught up on Survivor last night – interesting so far on how it is being played out. (or how it is being edited). I really don’t know who I want to win yet. My question is – are the chickens really running wild on that island – or were they planted for a potential food source?
Plus zipped thru the USA hockey game & watched a little curling that I tivo’d . I’d really like to try curling, but I don’t think it is played anywhere here in GA.
I’m done with last night’s episode.
*** SPOILER START ***
I’m kinda surprised that Stephenie got booted so early.
*** SPOILER END ***
Right now I’m just loving the assemblage of the beautiful women who’ve played the game in the past. It’s amazing to think that it’s been ten years since players such as Jerri played the game; it’s too bad that Richard Hatch couldn’t have played this season. I’ve wondered about the chickens as well.
I think curling, Canada’s National Sport, would be interesting to attempt though I doubt that it’s available anywhere outside the northern boundary states. I also like playing shuffleboard (thanks to many hours playing in Florida while my mother worked at a motel).
Great picture of the cat…I love it. You do take great animal shots and that’s not easy. My favorite picture of Toby (not looking like he passes out in a pile of beer bottles) is the one you took at Christmas. Maybe you can grab a couple of shots of the little man (yep, found out yesterday my Countess is a Count) once he gets settled in.
As for me…I’m really, really hoping I can get out for a run this weekend. I have practice tomorrow for Sectionals next weekend and I need to do some heavy organizing to make some room for *unnamed kitty* and Jerry. Oh, I’ll also be trying to think of a name for the kitty and cuddling unnamed kitty.
I think “Count” is a perfectly acceptable name… Count Basie liked it. And Martha, glad you remembered to make time for Jerry.

HEY – any of you ITP readers want to go to NorCal for some wine tasting 3/12-3/16? Flying into San Fran. One of the couples going with us just bailed…… & we’ve already got a house rented (no refunds).
Let me know if you’d be interested, we’ve got feelers out to lots of people to try to replace them.
@Barb, I wish…no time off for Jerry yet, sounds like fun. I’m hoping next year we can do a little more.
@FP, I’m leaning toward Kedi, it’s Turkish for cat (since he looks like a Turkish Van).
Don’t tell Jerry but the re-org of the closet is as much for me as it is for him. His junk is just everywhere when he stays at my place, so much so I can’t get to my stuff.
God lord this day is going by at a glacial pace…I’m ready to get out of here. Anyone else’s office just dead on Friday?
It’s been a slow day for getting my work done. It’s been a busy day for sitting in meetings and doing some other tasks which needed to be accomplished.
we are very slow……….
this office complex just opened The Break Room (some couches, chairs & vending machines). that just gave me something to do for 15 minutes – & got a short walk outside across the parking lot. I’m ready to go home now.
