Turned out that my Breeze Card was still valid, and possessed six fares, so I used it instead of the phone to ride Marta on Friday.

Wordle in 4 without a single yellow letter.

Saturday was not a riding day. I decided to bag it and it was probably for the best. I did go over to collect my T-shirt and spoke to the RD, who said it was a great crowd. Excellent.

Sunday was a chore day. When we had the barn wired, he put in an outlet for a radiant heater in the grooming area. Debbie has found little use for it there, but thought it might be better used in the first stall. There was plenty of wire that I simply had to un-staple and move to the new location. There was also some tractor work and a little drilling of a couple stumps. While the tops are a little rotted, a ouple inches down you hit solid wood. Not sure what the next step is.

Barb, it looked like a good crowd for the hash- sorry I missed it. I actually recognized some folks!

Wordle in 3: starting word DINGS because I always start with the first 5-letter word that pops into my head and Mom’s grandfather clock was going off. ????

  3. Getting beaten by everyone in Wordle today. Oh well.

    busy enough weekend –
Went to Friday hash happy hour – it was the usual group – but Red Eye was there – he just had a hip replacement.

Saturday – we walked to Waffle House for breakfast for some exercise, since I knew we’d be herding the cats all afternoon. Big enough crowd – 3 pots of chili was just barely enough – no one said they didn’t have enough food, so that was good.
The – after we got everyone to leave & cleaned up, went to Alpharetta to a friends to watch curling & eat some poutine. Their friends have some sort of stick that they can get Canadian stations – it was a National team against a Manitoba team. It was fun.

Sunday – we ended up doing a walkabout with a friend in Roswell – checked out this new food hall – Roswell Junction near her house. We split a “real” Philly cheesesteak – it was really good, but still no Freds Meat & Bread.

Dinner in the bus on Friday was really fun, as long as you didn’t take it seriously. The bus and menu are themed on The Karate Kid. There were two tracks: Wax On got one set of drinks and food, Wax Off got a different set of drinks and food. Kevin and I had different tracks so I got to try all the dishes and all the drinks. The drinks were meh, I honestly didn’t like any of them. At least they were all tiny. The first drink came out with a cloud of cotton candy on top, which was pretty crazy. But the food was phenomenal. Small bites but they were so good. It was plenty of food for me, although Kevin said he wanted a little more. But it was a really fun experience!

The bus was so small that a large person would not physically fit between the tables. We were served by 3 small women, who admitted that a main reason why they were hired is because they fit in the bus.

oh wow – that’s funny, not funny about your tiny servers.
Sound like a fun, maybe 1 time experience?

I was looking at their website – I guess you just have to stalk it constantly to get a reservation?

      • Jenka says:

Yes, thus the exclusivity. They only release reservations at 10:00 am every other Tuesday, so you have to be super fast to grab one of the 18 seats per seating.

And yes, it was definitely a fun, but 1 time only, experience.

  6. Boss man gave me a lunch break, so I am taking it now.

  7. Barb says:

wow – its a nice afternoon – just did an almost 4 mile walk
